Lucky Bums Skim Board for Kids and Adults

Took this on a beach vacation hoping to learn how to skimboard. It's harder than YouTube makes it look. I looked really cool walking down to the water carrying the board. Unfortunately trying to use the board just highlighted how uncool I really am. I couldn't even figure out how to drop the board properly. The two times I managed to get the board moving on the shorline, the minute I stepped on the board it decided to come to a dead stop. As if coming in contact with my uncoordinated thirty-something year old feet just sucked the life out of the board. I would eventually become so dejected and give up, but damn I bet I looked cool walking up the beach holding the board.

Got two of these for our yearly Cape trips and my kids love them. The wood is nice and smooth and well made and the graphics are lovely.

Good for the price but at the nose of the board the plywood has stared to break apart after just one week at the beach. I would not recommend this for someone who regularly skim-boards but for someone who goes every other year I think it is good for the price.

It’s not a pro board but still fun to bust your butt on

Perfect size for my teens, well made. The only problem is my son is reluctant to use it because it is surprisingly beautiful and he's considering using it as room decoration.

Purchased this skim board for my 12 year old son for Christmas, he took it to the beach for the first time last weekend. It split within the first 10 minutes of riding it. Because we bought it in December and it is sold by Amazon, how do we get a replacement or refund?

I got this board for my teenage nephew. It was first time using a skim board and it turned out to be a great beginner board. By the end of the week of riding on the sand there was a little wear on the bottom, but nothing that would impede his riding. I recommend waxing the top for better grip
