I bought a small piece of a bamboo stalk from a plant nursery. I needed something to hold it upright in water. I bought this item, quite a while ago, for that purpose. It is small enough to fit on the kitchen counter, out of the way. It holds a nice amount of water and my bamboo stalk has grown and is thriving. This item is made from thick glass and has a cork on top. It is easy to replace the water for my bamboo. Would definitely recommend.

I use these with cuttings from plants I have to grow new roots. They are a good size to start a plant out before transitioning it to soil. They are on the smaller size, depending on what you are looking for.

Works great keeps my plants in place and easy to clean. Bought only one because i do think is to expensive for just one vase.
