SparkPod 3-Inch Extreme High Pressure Shower Heads - Pressure Boosting with Rain, Massage & Pulsating Mode, Powerful Water-Saving Showerhead - 2.5 GPM Fixed Shower Head (Polished Chrome)

I bought this shower head because it was advertised as a high-pressure shower head. I installed the high-flow restrictor and have been using it for a few months now. The shower head does what the manufacturer claims and has nice performance range, from a near-stinging high-pressure spray to a pulsating water jet. I’m getting another one for my other bathroom.

My previous favorite brand is no longer available (powerspray waterpik showerhead) as waterpik is no longer making shower heads). Defeated, I bought this to try as a replacement.I can say that SparkPod has now become my new favorite showerhead.I hate shower heads that have large holes all over the face that produce a plopping rain drop like shower experience. I prefer shower heads with a small ring of holes around the outer edge. This shower head has that design. It also has three larger holes in the center (massage) but if the nozzle is turned all the way to one direction, those are not used (rain). This outer ring of small pinholes creates a high pressure forceful ring of scrubber type of spray that can practically knock your skin off. I use the higher flow 2.5gpm flow restrictor, the 1.8gpm was not doing it for me.They call the settings "rain" or "rain+massage". The "rain" corresponds to "powerspray" on the waterpik shower heads. It really isn't rain when using the 2.5gpm restrictor, it is a skin scrubber like action. However, it is very much like rain on the lower pressure 1.8gpm restrictor. For those that like a more bubbly, softer drop to their shower spray, the 1.8 gpm might be satisfactory.I will be buying the SparkPod brand shower head as long as they continue to manufacture it.Note: Some reviewers said this showerhead isn't adjustable nor rotate around, but it does. Maybe they had a stiff one that needed a little WD-40, I don't know but the position is adjustable with very little effort.Even if you do not have low water pressure, I would still recommend this. This not only feels great on the skin, it blasts the soap right off your body and out of your hair, making rinsing very quick and easy. This helps me keep shower times to less than 5 minutes on most days, conserving water even though I am using more water than I would be if I were using the lower flow 1.8 gpm restrictor.The price is great, the design is perfect, it is high quality, looks nice and above all it has fantastic spray pressure.

Saved my shower! I've very low trickle pressure in one of my bathrooms, and this device saved the day. I didn't really have high expectations, but whatever I did have were far surpassed by the realities of this head. The kit comes complete with three (3) water pressure choices, two wire mesh filters, and a cute little roll of teflon tape in a tiny little roll container size I didn't know they even made.. And there was planty of it. Also a cute little handwritten thank-you note on a ilttle card was a nice touch. So. Installed in seconds, no leaks, and great water pressure.

This thin packs a punch, the pressure is great, it looks sleek and went on easily. It comes with different gaskets to allow you to choose how much pressure you want. The price is incredible. Highly recommend

I appreciate this for what it is: a simple and relatively cheap shower head that does give me a LOT more pressure than my previous two shower heads (the cheap garbage one that came with the apartment and the Kohler one I replaced it with a few years ago). I docked it one star for two reasons: 1. I have so far been unable to adjust the angle, and that's usually pretty easy. 2. You pretty much have to choose the rain or massage setting. It says you can choose any point between the two in the instructions, but anything in-between seems to drop the pressure significantly. Still, I recommend this for what it is.Also worth noting: with the pre-installed restrictor (quoted at 1.8 GPM--the same as my previous shower head) I ran out of hot water noticeably faster than with my previous shower head. But my shower was enjoyable again, so I'll go with it. The water felt cleaner somehow too.

Where I live the water pressure isn't the strongest. I have thick hair and it used to take me forever to thoroughly soak my hair in the shower. I figured I would give this shower head a chance. It delivers a nice, strong stream and I noticed the difference right away. The first relaxing shower in awhile that didn't take forever to soak my hair and rinse out shampoo/conditioner.I didn't have a lot of money to spend and very little free time shopping so I didn't want to have to run around returning items if they didn't work. This was very easy to attach, rotates between various spray patterns smoothly, and I definitely noticed more water pressure. How does it work? I don't know, but trust me it works!

I bought this shower head because our water is pumped from a well. I have the well pressure set to 70/50 psi, which you'd think would be plenty for a shower, but having to go from the basement level and then two more floors, the water pressure absolutely sucks on the top floor if somebody is using water below. I've tried, and returned, virtually every shower head I could find from box stores. Nothing met my expectations. I thought about a booster pump or pumps for each level, but the complexities of doing that didn't seem worth it to me so I gave up.I was recently browsing Amazon for "shower head booster pump" just to see if that was a thing. In my mind, I thought it would be cool to have a shower head with a pump that could solve my problem even if it ran on batteries and had to be charged once in a while. NOPE! What I gained from that search was the SparkPod 3 showing up as a "pressure boosting" shower head. My first thought was "yeah right", but after reading the reviews specifically from other people that are on a well, I figured I may as well try it out because Amazon is cool and I can always return it.The shower head came with pipe tape and a preinstalled 1.8 GPM flow restrictor. It also comes with 2.5 GPM flow restrictor. If you're having issues like me, or want to maximize the potential from this shower head, you're not going to want to use either of those. Instead, use one of the two supplied screen gaskets to maximize the pressure coming from the unit. I can't believe how much pressure is retained even after flushing a toilet or having a washing machine or dishwasher running at the same time as taking a shower. You can hardly notice any drop.Another bonus for this shower head is the way it goes from very fine droplets at full counterclockwise, to the massage stream coming from the middle at full clockwise. It doesn't have settings you have to "click" in between, you simply rotate the end for how you want the stream to be. Very nice, and absolutely the best shower head I have ever used. I own two now, and plan to buy 2 more for the rest of the house.Thank You, Spark Pod!

Es un buen producto, en dónde vivo la presión del agua es muy baja y con ella mejoró bastante. Además de que fue muy fácil instalar.

It’s good and a great way to start the day. It won't rend flesh from bone but it is a decent shower head. I don't think hydraulics theory allows a true pressure increase is a restriction of flow, I think it's just well machined holes. If you come out with one on a wand, let me know and I'll upgrade

This shower head is a game changer. Water pressure at my home is low somehow, and taking a shower has never been enjoyable until I found this shower head. It drastically changed the water pressure - like really good. I don’t know how it does it but I love this product. Very easy to install - plug and play. I didn’t use the restricter that came with it to get maximum water pressure. I highly recommend it. It’s a bit pricier but worth spending some extra bucks. You won’t regret it, trust me.

Efectivamente aumenta la presión del agua. Tengo una que no tenia demasiada presión y hasta mis papas ya pensaban que era problema de la tuberia que es muy pequeña y mejor cambiarlo a una mayor requiriendo romper, con esto ya no fue necesario, la presión fue una diferencia abismal, el volumen de agua disminuye al tener mas presión pero es algo que si me gusta porque ahorra agua tambien
