No the lids are not glass. They are plastic and cannot be microwaved.

Can i bake chicken in these like pyrex ?

Absolutely. I have already cooked pot roast twice, cooked three 11lb prime rib roasts and baked hamburger multiple times. I like baked sometimes better than pan frying. Enjoy!!! They are also dishwasher safe!
