I bought a pressure gate years ago to keep my dog in one part of the house while I was at work. At the time, I bought some different wall protectors, and they were awesome. But my new puppy can’t be trusted outside of his crate while I’m at work, so the pressure gate came down. And after a few months, I decided to toss it out. Well, I tossed the wall protectors with the regular trash, but I hadn’t gotten around to dragging the gate itself out to the dumpster… and then I decided I needed the gate after all. Little pup still stays in his crate while I’m at work, but when he runs around in the apartment when I’m home, I don’t want him going into the bathroom (where he steals and shreds kleenex from the trash) or the bedroom (where there’s carpet he can stain). So I needed new wall protectors.I went ahead and put the gate up for about a week while I desperately shopped for the same wall protectors I had before. Unfortunately, the company that made them no longer does, and it seems no one else makes anything in a similar design either. So I decided on a set of these instead and hoped for the best. As expected, they do the job well, and they were so easy to use. Not only do they keep those little pressure plates from jamming through the sheet rock, but they disperse the pressure across a larger area, which lessens the chance the wall will be damaged at all. I’m still bummed that I couldn’t find the ones I originally bought, but these make for a great alternative.

I wish I'd had these BEFORE i installed the gate. But the gate is more stable now. I'll just have to touch up the paint later.

These protectors do what they’re supposed to do, they cushion the doorway and prevent holes being pushed into the frame. It works well I’m drywall also. Fast shipping and reasonably priced.

I have baby gates to keep.my dogs out of certain parts of the house. I wanted to protect my paint and these do a great job of that. I didn't screw them in as I am.using pressure gates and didn't want to poke holes in the wall. They stay perfectly

Fit the small doorframe perfectly. My pets tend to be pretty strong so I reinforced it by using 3M Extreme Mounting Tape. Now hopefully they will be unable to bring down the gate using team effort.

Put up gates in door way. Didn’t have to drill any holes, they worked great.
