EDEN AQUARIUM AUTOMATIC FISH FEEDER 901

I use this feeder for my marine tank. It is the same design as the expensive apex feeder and works very well. I bought a power supply so it runs off mains as I cannot be bothered to change batteries or more importantly work out when the batteries have failed. Positives: keeps good dry, works for a good number of weeks on rechargible batteries.Negatives: Bulky as all automated feeders seem to be. Does not fit inside many if any tanks. Tricky to set the desired amount of food as the spinning mechanism tends to either dump too little food or way too much. Additionally very sensitive to changes in granuel size (smaller granuel lead to a greater amount dispensed at the same setting). Finally mains adaptor and mounting bracket not included thus poor value for money.

This product works very well, but despite reviews to say flake food was good to use with the feeder, I found it stuck to the side of the feed cup and didn’t bring down the flake food.When I switched to food pellets it worked very well. I would advise users to try it out with their own fish food well before needing to use it while away from home.

Disappointed in this. Had spent a lot of time researching different models and expected this one to be the best for our tank. As of yet have not got it to work properly, (distributes much too much food at every turn of the food compartment), and will not fit onto our tank, despite buying the fitting attachment as an extra cost, which I felt SHOULD be included with this part.

A little experimentation needed to get the right amount of food but once you've got it set it's brilliant and keeps the food dry.Have filled it with a mix of different sized particles and does a good job

Brilliant, the best feeder I have had, far surpasses the Eheim twin.I keep Marine fish, some of them need feeding very regularly...With this I setup 4 regular feeds during the day with up to 3 doses(or revolutions of the feeder) at each one. This way I can set the feeds very precisely. One large one evening and just before lights out and a 2 smaller ones during the dayWorks well with all food types, flake and pellet. Some of the larger flake could get stuck but if you crush it small enough shouldnt.Really a great product

Did the job nicely while I was away for a few weeks. Expensive for what it is but as long as it lasts it is well worth it. Have left mine do its thing, as it saves me a few minutes in the mornings. Fish are happy.

Great product worth spending that bit extra, works as expected keeps flake fish food dry. Bought bracket as extra felt this should be included with feeder as standard not at extra expense.
