This isn’t a simple tension rod. It requires drilling and installation. It also seems cheaply made. It didn’t work for our needs.

My son's closet rod came tumbling down the other day and all of his hanging clothes went with it. I ordered this as a replacement for it, but being that I am the least handy person on earth, I was a little stressed about the fact the it arrived with quite a few small screws and parts. I think I thought I was ordering a tension type rod that I could just force in there without any drilling required. So, this is a nice and sturdy rod, but just be aware that it is wall mounted and takes a bit of effort to get it installed.

This rod comes in two pieces that fit together and adjust to the size you desire at the time you install it. Because of the separating parts, I’m not real sure how sturdy it will be when in actual use.

I thought I was receiving a tension rod so that I wouldn’t have to make holes in the wall but drilling is required. I was still able to use it without drilling, but was disappointed at the false advertising in the title of this product. It was easy to adjust otherwise and is a functional closet rod.

This closet rod reminds me of a shower rod. It's pretty sturdy, adjustable and easy to install. I'm hoping it holds up with all the clothes I need to hang.

My smallest bedroom has a 19" closet. I had never seen a closet so small, so this rod came in handy instantly. It is easy to install and adjust. The brackets provide a decent amount of support in an especially tiny environment.

Maybe it was just me, but I had a hard time putting this together and having it function properly. The end caps seemed too large for the included pole so the fit was sloppy and I ended up not using. When I initially opened I don't remember having instructions on how it went together but like I said, I must have done it incorrectly and it just simply did not work and would not loosen or tighten.
