The Lagandary RTM Tapes...what more can I say?

Excellent case. And massive inlay for jotting down Ur. Tunes recorded tapes themselves are. Nice clear plastic with strong screws fixing and nice. Big labels. Great value as well for a complete mystery buy. I've never seen before 👌

RTMs ferric tapes are made to the same specifications as the old BASF LH, used by recording studios across the world. I’m absolutely delighted with the quality of these cassettes, zero dropouts and excellent frequency response, high output and good noise performance. In my tests with these cassettes, I’m using my Denon DRM 710, 3-head dual capstan machine that also benefits from Dolby HX Pro and adjustable bias. If you are buying RTM tape, you can be assured of a high-quality European made product. This review is written by genuine customer based in South-East London.

I've clearly been delivered a dud box - how am I meant to use these tapes if there's no tape in them!?

Didn’t sound too bad, as good as any basic normal cassette back in the day, but I had some quality issues with 2 of the cassettes. The first one unspooled itself in the machine. I was using a Sony Walkman D6C which is a top notch machine and has never had any issues with chewing up cassettes so I can only presume the cassette itself was at fault. The second cassette I tried has vastly lower output on the left hand channel. Again, I recorded a test tone in my D6C and when played back on another machine there was a clear drop in volume on the left hand channel. It’s a shame as these cassettes looked quite promising but I wouldn’t bother buying them again.

Not really much to say other than the fact they are good tapes with good recording quality, unfortunately these tapes are rather expensive, but I’ll pay for them either way.

Ho preso queste cassette essendo un supporto che ho sempre usato ed anche perché le cassette vintage sigillate hanno raggiunto ormai prezzi folli. Le ho provate e testate confrontandole con una TDK sa cromo nuova che avevo tenuto sigillata. Non ho sentito particolari differenze e posso dire che pur essendo un nastro normale tiene il confronto con la TDK al cromo.

These are great tapes! Very low noise, even without noise reduction Dolby B/C initiated. These are so much better than what I used decades ago. (like 4 decades ago) Is the price a little higher yes, is it worth it definitely! If it’s in your budget get these.

Excellent quality, smooth with minimal tape hiss.
