Ok. Back in the mid 90's out came plaster of Paris with silicone sculpture molds. Safe, non toxic, easy to use. But there were some challenges. Air bubbles. Removing them from the molds was ok. Painting them was fun. The molds were reusable, and for me with a daycare, that was big. The kids had lots of fun, (ok I did too). The price was very reasonable! Now along comes this product! I honestly had this in my cart on hold for months due to the cost. But along came a sale so I say let's try. Now no matter if your a beginner or seasoned crafter to this kind of material, it doesn't matter, you can do this! The kit literally comes with things to get started, you just need a basic kitchen scale, (which are inexpensive now a days, coming from someone who is on a very fixed budget), cardboard square big enough for your mold to sit on and water. If you are still unsure, watch Steven McDonald, glitz n glitter, and so many others on YouTube. Steve, however really does a fantastic job with many insights. Ok. Follow instructions, even if you make a mistake and add to much water or resincrete, you can still fix it. No worries. The cardboard, tile or something to put your mold on, (which it comes with 3 cool molds), that cardboard will help you to shake out any bubbles, move it without spilling, just a great tool that's free!. Everyone has cardboard! Now, (wish I knew this years ago with the plaster of Paris), but you can color this in many ways. If you add Mica, add it to the dry first, liquid or acrylic paint, add it to the water first. (If you want different colors, do smaller batches to put together). The bubbles, wow, barely any. The surface, smooth with a beautiful Sheen! Now I wished I never listened to my ex husband! I wish I had kept those molds and ice cube trays I had those 20 some odd years ago! You can use this in ice cube trays like from the dollar store also! My recommendations when you finally decide to buy this kit: Buy another bag of resincrete Kitchen scale Fun mold, such as even the candy melt trays, ice cube trays. (No need to go expensive here) The bottle of glaze that is water soluble for resincrete. String (to make ornaments) A simple face mask, (in case of dust) Imagination You will not regret this purchase! But if you have children, they will have fun also! Hmmm who will have more fun? The adults or the children? You decide!

I love this stuff. It’s makes crafting easy and fun. It dries hard as a rock! I dropped a piece and it did not break. I will use it again. Worth the money.

I’ve been seeing a similar product on YouTube that is not widely available in the US but I really wanted to try it. I saw this kit and gave it a shot. The kit has everything needed to do a basic project, including 3 molds. I mixed up a couple of batches very quickly having never done this before and they came out well. Simple process mix powder with water. Add color if desired then pour into mold. It is ready to demold in 30 minutes. I will continue to use this product.

The starter kit has everything necessary to create several items. While the compound sets up quickly, it, initially, flows like water, which enables it to get into every detailed part of a mold. The short de-mold time allows multiple castings in a short time period and, also, feeds instant gratification. The cured projects are “rock solid” and have a nice weight. The finish, before applying any type of finishing wax or sealant, is silky smooth. There are several options for adding pigment. I have, so far, used only the Jdiction pigments for Resincrete. I was not impressed with results using pigments from the kit. Despite vigorously shaking the vials some of the pigments had the consistency of a thick paste. Some of the pigments had a creamy, fluid consistency. I had the full set of pigments purchased in addition to the kit, so I tried them. They are great - rich pigment, good consistency, smoothly incorporates into the compound. The kit comes with a finishing wax. There is no information, however, as to the type of wax or application. I emailed Jdiction in inquiry about sealant recommendations, but they never replied (after sending 2 messages). If someone has resin casting supplies, the single bag of Resincrete would probably suffice. The starter kit would be good for anyone who has no casting supplies. If Jdiction’s “customer service” had responded to one of my email inquiries, I would have given 5+ stars.

It's JDiction ResinCrete it simply doesn't get any better. This is the top tier eco pour. So user friendly, so versatile. Excellent working time and cures very fast and super hard. Easily colored, painted or resined. Not to mention THE BEST customer service I have ever encountered.

I bought this for a less expensive and toxic alternative to resin. So far, it meets both requirements. I can mix up a batch and I don’t have to open the window for several hours because there is no noxious fume the way you get with resin. I have had good results using acrylic paint to color the product.

Loved the product! It was very easy to work it, it was the first time using it and everything came out so smooth and without any bubbles.

I watched a few videos of people using Resincrete and decided to give it a try. I like it better than plaster. It mixes smooth and fast. I used a scale to measure my powder and water with perfect results. It cured fast and without bubbles. I tried casting some dinosaurs. The mold was made with inflexible plastic and not silicone. Toes and tails were breaking. Super glue patched them back together. A bunch of my other silicone molds are packed away at the moment. I'm looking forward to trying them out as soon as I can get them back.
