L'Oreal Paris Elvive Total Repair 5 Repairing Shampoo, 28 Fl Oz

Just like the conditioner from this line, L'Oreal Paris Elvive Total Repair 5 Shampoo continues to be one of my all-time favorites, despite the frankly ridiculous amount of luxury haircare I've tried and reviewed over the past couple of years. My hair is fine, straight and very prone to frizz, so finding a shampoo that cleans thoroughly without stripping my hair or leaving it feeling dry and unruly is important. This one gets that balance just right. It lathers beautifully, rinses clean and leaves my hair feeling soft, smooth and manageable before I've even reached for the conditioner. Paired with the Elvive Total Repair 5 Conditioner, it does an excellent job taming my frizz without weighing down my fine hair. My hair feels clean and healthy, with noticeably less of that fluffy, flyaway look that can drive me crazy. I've used shampoos from some seriously expensive prestige and salon brands like OMG+, Olaplex, LolaVie and Pureology, and yet I continue coming back to this one. There's something wonderfully satisfying about finding a drugstore product that can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with bottles costing several times as much. Great performance, great value and consistently great results. My luxury shampoos may have prettier bottles, but Elvive Total Repair 5 has earned permanent real estate in my shower!

This shampoo works wonders for restoring dry or damaged hair to a healthy state. The formula is wonderfully rich and lathers up beautifully, cleansing thoroughly without stripping away essential moisture or leaving a heavy residue. It smells absolutely amazing and makes detangling in the shower effortless right from the start. After just a few uses, my hair feels significantly softer, looks visibly smoother, and has a beautiful, healthy shine that lasts all day. It is an incredible, budget friendly choice that easily rivals luxury salon brands in terms of performance.

The L'Oréal Paris Elvive Total Repair 5 Repairing Shampoo is a game-changer for anyone dealing with damaged hair. Packed with protein and ceramides, it’s designed to address multiple signs of hair damage, and it certainly delivers on its promises. Here’s my experience: Pros: Multi-Action Formula: This shampoo targets five common hair concerns—split ends, weakness, roughness, dullness, and dehydration. After just a few washes, my hair felt noticeably stronger and healthier. Restorative Ingredients: The inclusion of protein and ceramides works wonders for repairing and reinforcing the hair shaft, making it more resilient against future damage. Gentle and Nourishing: Despite being effective, the formula is gentle on the scalp and doesn’t strip the hair of its natural oils. My hair felt clean but not overly dry. Improved Texture: After consistent use, my hair felt softer, smoother, and more manageable. The shampoo also helped reduce frizz and improved the overall appearance of my strands. Pleasant Scent: The shampoo has a light, pleasant fragrance that isn’t overwhelming but leaves hair smelling fresh and clean all day. Affordable: For a product that delivers salon-like results, the price point is highly budget-friendly, making it accessible for regular use. Cons: May Require Matching Conditioner: While the shampoo alone is effective, pairing it with the Total Repair 5 conditioner enhances the results significantly. Without it, hair might feel slightly less hydrated. Not Sulfate-Free: This may not be ideal for those with very sensitive scalps or those who prefer sulfate-free formulations, especially for color-treated hair. Final Verdict: The L'Oréal Paris Elvive Total Repair 5 Repairing Shampoo is an excellent choice for anyone looking to revitalize damaged hair without breaking the bank. Its effective blend of protein and ceramides works quickly to repair and strengthen hair, leaving it soft, shiny, and healthy. I highly recommend this product for those dealing with damaged, brittle, or dull hair, especially when used as part of the Total Repair 5 system.

Been using it for years it smells great and make my hair look great.

Love this shampoo - I've been using it for years. However. This latest bottle will not open so the pump pops up to allow a flow. I've already thrown out the previous bottle. Guess I'll buy an empty pump bottle.

I've been very happy with this shampoo. It leaves my hair feeling clean, soft, and much easier to manage without drying it out. After using it consistently, my hair looks healthier and feels stronger. It has a pleasant scent, lathers well, and a little goes a long way. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable everyday shampoo.

After buying so many products for what I wanted Than You for what I needed! This is lovely and reasonable priced. From a Senior!

my hair has never felt healthier third time buying this
