My wife and I have been using the Atem X for over a month now, and this has been a real game changer. The performance has been outstanding it really makes a noticeable difference in the air quality, keeping our home feeling fresh and clean throughout the day. Other purifiers have a common issue that it is disturbing to sleep with the noise and lights blinking but Atem X gives an option to tweak the fan speed thus making it completely silent and dim the lights too, which makes it stand out from others. One of the things we both love is how easy it is to control. We can adjust everything through our phones, monitor the air quality in real-time, even when we're out of the house, which is super convenient. The design is something we really love. It has a modern look that fits in perfectly with our decor, and we especially appreciate how the control panel is subtle and doesn’t dominate the design. It's clear that a lot of thought went into both its functionality and appearance. It blends in so well that you hardly notice it's there, which adds to the overall stylish vibe of the room. Overall, we are really pleased with how well it works, how it looks, and how it's made our home feel more comfortable.

Based in UAE, been using the Atem X air purifier for almost 2 months now and there is really a significant and noticeable improvement in the indoor air quality in our room. As someone who is very sensitive to dust, it helped with my frequent sneezing. I can spot less dust in my home furnitures. The design/controls are great specially the option for quiet function. It does not disturb our sleep but still effective & high power. I love that I can easily control it using my phone. Will definitely also have it for my living area.

Have been using this air purifier now continuously for just over 3 months. Bought it here in Dubai where air pollution is a constant concern. Like the design. Unit is very quiet. I typically run it on the speed 3-5, where it is very quiet. Highest fan speed 8 makes a noticeable sound, but is only necessary when I cook. Filter life is at 82%, so I expect to have to replace my filter after about 16 months. Happy with the purchase.

The air purifier is great, stylish, quiet, works. But I cannot find replacement filters anywhere. Not even on the IQAir website they don’t show filters for my country.Do I have to buy a new air purifier once the filter is used up?

I have used IQAir purifiers for over 10 years and was a little sceptical about how this unit would stack up against their beefy older models. The Atem X is a substantial air purifier with about 65 cm in diameter, but I found that because it is only about 20 cm deep, I am able to place it nearly anywhere in a room. What's cool is that the airflow can be adjusted in direction by rotating the unit, which allows me to avoid a draft, while running the unit on a high fan speed. The unit is very quiet when compared to my older air purifiers. There are not obvious lights and control pads on the unit. The unit works well with the IQAir app and allows me to see my air quality over time. One item that could be improved is the carrying handle, which makes makes moving the unit from room to room not very comfortable. On the upside, the unit comes with a wheel plate to roll the unit.

It's easy to set up and the app is excellent. Works well, runs quietly and looks great. It's certainly a bonus that it can be placed against a wall. The base with casters snaps on if you want it to be mobile. It doesn't come cheap but the improved air quality, and the obviously excellent build quality of the device, are worth it.

Impressively Engineered and High Quality.You get what you pay for. The IQAir Atem X feels high quality and performs like it. Setup was quick, the design is sleek, and it fits nicely into our space.The app makes scheduling easy, and quiet mode even turns off the lights so it won’t be distracting at night or while watching a movie. It’s also impressively quiet, even at higher settings. It automatically adjusts its filtration level based on the indoor air quality, but you can manually adjust the settings at any time if you prefer.The app also shows a simple daily chart comparing its indoor air-quality readings with reported outdoor air quality, so you can quickly see how the air inside your home is doing relative to outside.One thing to keep in mind is that the Atem X is a fairly large unit designed for larger spaces. I’d recommend making sure you have a good-sized room. I would suggest at least around 300 square feet to really justify its size and capabilities. For a smaller room, I’d probably look at one of IQAir’s more compact options instead.Overall, the engineering, build quality, and sleek design are impressive. The performance has been excellent.The only area for slight improvement is that the app could use a little updating, but it functions well as is.We have had it running for a few days now and we are very happy with it.

Just like the title says, its most probably the best consumer air (particulate) purifier there is, and also probably the most expensive.It depends how you value the quality of your air…keeping an eye on the warming climate and forest fires…to me, right now, its worth it (hell, look at what changing a single thermos window costs…).Designed in Switzerland, built in Germany…what can I say !

The purifier looks good and comes ready to use out of the box. No need to install the filters like in other models.Pairing the unit with the phone app was easy, instructions were clear.The app is well designed and intuitive, easy to use, made configuring the unit a breeze.The unit has a quite mode of operation which is very useful if the unit is located near you or if the room is on the small side - this takes care of your ears by not raising the motor power too high!I took a star due to some features missing from the app: although the unit measures the content of PM2.5 and CO2 continously, it does not allow to program the unit to turn on if one of those parameters goes outside a threshold, and to turn it off when the air gets clean enough. This means you still need to use some external logic and devices if you care to have the air purifier turned on when the air gets dirty without having to keep the unit on at all times (just using up the filter for nothing). I am surprised this feature is missing, cheaper brands have been offering it for 5 years or more!Also, even if this model has a wired network option, the option is not shown either on Amazon or on the manufacturer's own website! This is important for people who don't have a wifi network or who don't want to keep one turned on everywhere.All in all, this a very new and welcome addition to IQair's air purifiers portfolio, pushing them forward in the modern world of intelligent devices (those using thier other air purifier products like the bigger HealthPro line understand what I mean).
