Professional Clean Every Time
This toothbrush was a replacement purchase after my daughter took my original handle and left me with just the brush heads, so I needed to replace it. I’m honestly glad it happened because this one works so well and feels like a professional cleaning every single time I use it. The brushing experience is smooth, powerful, and very effective without being harsh. The visible pressure sensor is one of my favorite features because it helps protect my gums while still delivering a deep clean. The two-minute timer keeps me on track, and the multiple cleaning settings allow me to adjust based on how my teeth and gums feel on any given day. The connectivity is wonderful and adds to the overall experience. It makes brushing feel more intentional and polished, almost like having guidance built into your routine. Everything works seamlessly, and the toothbrush consistently delivers the same high-quality results every time. The design feels premium and well thought out, and the included replacement brush heads and charging travel case are a big bonus. It’s convenient for everyday use and travel, and nothing about it feels cheap or flimsy. Overall, this was an excellent replacement and exceeded my expectations. It performs extremely well, feels professional with every use, and has quickly become something I truly enjoy using. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier electric toothbrush that delivers consistent, high-quality results.

Oral B iO-10 Electric Toothbrush
The Oral B iO-10 is the best Oral B electric toothbrush I have used, and I have been using their products for years. I have a few sensitive teeth & areas of gum recession. Oral B has designed a sensitive toothbrush head and this handle has a sensitive setting. For the first time, I am consistently doing a better job using less pressure while brushing. I like the feedback from the Oral B app on my iPhone. I use the app every time I brush. Over several weeks, my technique has become consistently using less pressure and I get great feedback from the app. My teeth feel like I have just had my teeth cleaned by a hygienist and over the weeks of using this product I am not showing any build up of plaque, which an improvement. My daughter needed a new electric toothbrush, so I gifted her an Oral B iO 7. She let us know she loved it, it was such an improvement over her previous Oral B handle, which was pre the iO version. When I decided to purchase a new handle for me, I did more research and discovered the iO 10. It was expensive compared to the iO 7, but I have been very happy with this product. I purchased the iO 9 for my husband. I consider the handle a personal care product, so i purchase a handle for each of us. The iO 9 seems to have the same features as the iO 10, and does cost significantly less. We are each happy with these 3 different models of the iO handles. The iO tooth brush heads are expensive, but I like them. The battery life goes down quickly, so I keep it charging. It has a tongue brushing mode, and several other settings to individualize the handle to your preferences. It is important to read the instructions and rinse the handle & tooth brush head as directed. I always rinse them, as directed by the Oral B directions, and have not had any build up dried toothpaste that a YouTube reviewer had a problem with. Overall, this is the best electric toothbrush I have ever used. I am very careful and consistent with oral care. I enjoy using this product and my oral health has improved.

My advice is to splurge on this one
Update #4 - 6 months later: it has continued to work, has been taken on several trips with no problems, still fun to use, and probably brushes better than I would without the feedback from the app. Update #3 - it has kept working fine for a month. Amazing that it can track which of the 16 zone is being brushed, not nearly perfect but good enough. The app on the phone is useful enough to keep using every days, kind of tricky to finish the side and top zones, still gamelike and engaging. Back to 5 stars. Update #2 - emailed the company a few times. Finally got the reset button to work right after about 20 attempts, and it works again for now. No secret trick, except the button doesn’t move. So I'm back to enthused about the unique capabilities of this toothbrush. Update #1 - Loved it for 5 days, as described below, but then the software quit working. Somehow the unit is no longer connected to the phone app. I've spent an hour so far searching YouTube videos and the instructions, making no progress. The reset button at the back is the worst input device I've encountered in a long time, and all the instructions are complicated and unclear. I'll modify this review if I ever get this $350 device back to working as it should. Cost is outrageous, but performance is great. A gyroscope allows the toothbrush to know which of 16 zones is being brushed (top or bottom, inside or outside, left right or middle, and the tops of the back zones) to track whether each zone gets its share of time. The graphic on the app on the phone (which I hold in the other hand) shows the progress. The ability to track history of brushing performance effectively gamifies the experience - I actually look forward to brushing at the moment. In six years, it will probably get 2000 uses, so 20 cents is not so frivolous, and tooth and gum work prevented has some value.

Who Knew My Toothbrush Would Be Smarter Than Me? Adventures with the Oral-B iO Series 10!
When my trusty Sonicare toothbrush finally decided to retire after nearly twenty years of loyal service, I embarked on an epic quest to find a worthy successor. My Sonicare was so old it probably had memories of the Y2K scare, so it was about time. Enter the Oral-B iO Series 10, a toothbrush that’s so advanced I’m half expecting it to start giving me stock tips and weather forecasts. The Price Tag Dilemma: I’ll admit, the price tag gave me pause. For a moment, I wondered if I’d mistakenly wandered into the luxury goods section. I mean, I was searching for a toothbrush, not a second mortgage. But then I thought, "Hey, you only live once, and I’d rather invest in dental hygiene than in future dental bills." Unboxing the Future: Unboxing this toothbrush felt like opening a gadget from a sci-fi movie. It’s sleek, shiny, and has more lights than my Christmas tree. The magnetic charger is so cool, it could double as a prop in a superhero film. I half expected it to come with a button labeled "Launch" instead of "Power." Features That Make You Go ‘Wow’: The Oral-B iO Series 10 is packed with more features than my smartphone. It has an interactive color display that gives me feedback on my brushing technique—finally, an audience for my oral hygiene skills! It even offers multiple brushing modes, including Daily Clean and Gum Care, and I’m pretty sure there’s one that translates to "You’re doing amazing, sweetie!" The AI technology is like having a tiny dental coach cheering me on. It tracks my brushing pattern and offers helpful advice, probably more than I get from my therapist. It’s like having a buddy that’s really into your oral health. Brushing Experience: Using this toothbrush is like giving my teeth a VIP spa treatment. The micro-vibrations and oscillating technology make my mouth feel so clean, I’m pretty sure it could pass a military inspection. My teeth have never felt this pampered. The smart pressure sensor is a lifesaver, gently reminding me to ease up when I’m brushing like I’m trying to scrub away my middle school yearbook photo. The App Adventure: Of course, there’s an app—because why not? Syncing my toothbrush with my phone felt like introducing it to the Internet of Things. The app provides feedback and tracks my progress, acting like a personal trainer for my teeth, minus the motivational shouting. The 3D tracking is so precise, I’m convinced it’s secretly plotting my dental future. Battery Life and Cost Justification: The battery life is impressive, lasting up to two weeks on a single charge. This is perfect because I often forget to charge things until they’re as lifeless as my houseplants. As for the price, it’s steep, but think of it as an investment in oral health and a potential savings plan for avoiding future dental nightmares. Plus, it’s cheaper than therapy, and this toothbrush actually gives feedback! Final Verdict: In conclusion, the Oral-B iO Series 10 is more than just a toothbrush; it’s a technological marvel that makes brushing my teeth the highlight of my day. It’s a blend of futuristic features and everyday dental care that has transformed my oral hygiene routine into a daily adventure. If you’re ready to splurge on your dental future—and maybe show off a little at your next dentist appointment—this toothbrush is worth every penny. Just don’t be surprised if it starts offering you unsolicited advice on your life choices.

Wonderful toothbrush with beyond cutting edge technology
Excellent toothbrush with beyond cutting edge technology. It's process has improved my dental hygiene. Worth every penny! When my wife tried mine, she had to have one for herself. So we did that. She absolutely loves it! The only downside I see is that it's not perfect in following where the toothbrush is going. But they are working on that and the last update improved it quite a bit. Still a little ways to go. I highly recommend this for anyone who cares about their dental hygiene and can afford the price. UPDATE: I've had this now for about 6 months, and I do have one gripe. His biggest selling point is its ability to track your brushing and show you where your missing so that you can brush better. However this does not work well. If you watch it on the app or even on the stand, you can see that when you're brushing especially the bottom left side or the top right side of your teeth, it's contributing your brushing to the wrong segment of your teeth. And it's very difficult to get 100%. They really need to fix this! I still recommend it because I think it's a great toothbrush and really well made, but this is a major problem.

Amazing and strong
I was never a fan of prior electric toothbrushes so stayed away for years. But decided to try this and I really like the rotating heads rather than sonic vibrating ones. Teeth feel a lot cleaner. Teaching which part of the mouth I have brushed “enough” is good but if you turn your head the unit doesn’t recognize you are in the same spot. So it miscalculates time spent in a particular area. But if you keep your head facing a single direction, then it is fine. Regardless, I know I cover all areas well and maybe longer than “I need” so the monitoring isn’t really of much use for me or most people. Not sure there is much difference between modes such as daily clean and whitening. They are the only ones I have tried. Works well, but not sure if difference is more a gimmick. Regardless, I love the product. Battery lasts quite a while, but the one time I didn’t charge it for a while it only lasted less than a week. Maybe modes affect it, but I also brush my teeth longer than 3 minutes and 3+ times per day. So you need to factor in your habits to really know how long it will last for you.

This toothbrush just leveled up my life!
Alright, buckle up, fellow tooth enthusiasts—this toothbrush is next-level. The Oral-B iO10 has more cleaning modes than I knew my teeth needed, and after one use, I felt like I’d just left the dentist’s chair (without the awkward small talk). I upgraded from a lower-level Oral-B, and there’s no turning back—this is officially the best toothbrush I’ve ever owned. For starters, it’s got a sleek, magnetic, futuristic charging plate that looks like something out of a sci-fi movie (and has a built in digital clock), plus it comes with a travel case that charges the brush so I’m always ready for a power clean, even on the go. If you brush with the enthusiasm of scrubbing a burnt pan (like me), the iO10’s pressure sensor will kindly tell you to chill out before you wage war on your gums. It’s like having a tiny, polite dental hygienist say, “Uh, maybe ease up there, buddy?” The Bluetooth connection syncs with an app that shows exactly which teeth you’ve brushed, so no molar gets left behind. The charging plate also has a timer and shows when you’ve thoroughly brushed each quadrant- in case you don’t want to use the app. It’s basically like having your own digital mouth map. True, it’s not cheap, but I snagged it on Prime Day for a discount after eyeing it for a while. Pricey? Yes. But if you’re serious about investing in your oral care (or just love a high-tech gadget), this toothbrush is worth every penny.

UPDATE: Preferred my Sonicare - This is gross….
UPDATE: It’s been a year and half and now the base has stopped functioning. Now it shows trying to connect to WiFi endlessly and shows no time, brushing progress, etc. It does continue to charge at least. So I find that while this has been a great toothbrush in many ways I think overall I prefer the Sonicare. I’ll first share the pros of this. 1. Quiet 2. Screen is easy to read 3. App is a little more dynamic than Sonicare (but seems to work less well in general) 4. The charging puck being so simple is nice. I like that it just sits on it. No glass cup it lays in. 5. Feels nice. 6. Has a small charging case. 7. Very trendy. Cons: 1. I drool THROUGH the toothbruh head. Like it has holes all over the head which are all connected to the tube of the head. When I brush the soap gets into those holes and leaks down the handle, my arm, and shirt. It drives me insane. The Sonicare does NOT do this. 2. The size of the stem for the brush head is huge. The Sonicare was slim and I could close my mouth fully when brushing. This one I feel like I can’t close my mouth all the way. It’s too big. 3. I can’t tell the difference between modes. What’s the point of so many if they all work the same? 4. The AI isn’t that smart. Half the time it has no idea where I am in my mouth. That’s something I hoped would be improved over the Sonicare. 5. UPDATE: This toothbrush gets NASTY. I fully acknowledge you must rinse the Sonicare and OralB toothbrushes after each use, but one complaint about this particular brush is the amount of places toothpaste and saliva reach. As I mentioned in point one, there are multiple holes for things to seep into and sit in. While I’ve rinsed my toothbrush and head separately every brush (because this requires that unlike the Sonicare), the sheer amount of space and crevices has caused the brush to grow a foul smell. I finally found a sanitizing pod for the brush and put it in upside down. I let it sit for ten minutes and came back to a cup full of film. I shook the brush and all of this grime and filth came out of where the stem of the brush head attaches. This is just nasty. Now let me share why I preferred the Sonicare. 1. The smaller heads and the lack of drooling. 2. I could buy the heads at a Costco warehouse. 3. The app made you set what part of your mouth you would always start in and then what direction you wanted to move. This made it track a lot more accurately. With the Oral B I feel like I’m fighting where it’s going in my mouth or brushing too long just for it to say it’s finished. 4. The Sonicare just seemed to clean better. If I brushed with the Sonicare and then flossed it seemed like less came out, now with the Oral B more comes out. 5. The Oral B supposedly gets rid of plaque better though, so I’m confused why plaque is easier to remove than food particles? 6. The app always continued a brushing session when turned on without a certain amount of time after ending brushing early. 7. It just looks better. 8. The Sonicare does not get as dirty and is much easier to keep clean. So that being said. Ask your questions before you buy the most expensive toothbrush ever and make sure you are getting what you really want.
