I am a big fan of the original sweet baby rays, this is a sweeter version with a nice subtle spice to it, if you like BBQ sauce I'd recommend this.

Purchased this as could not find in local supermarkets, only BBQ flavour. Absolutely fabulous taste, with only one drawback........ have to hide it from rest of family. They also love the taste. Good with chicken fillets and also have used as dip with chicken nuggets. Lip smacking!!

Excellente sauce BBQ

Ich mache BBQ-Saucen normalerweise selbst. Das ist für mich Teil des Grillens und gehört einfach dazu. Umso bemerkenswerter ist es, dass diese Sauce trotzdem dauerhaft einen festen Platz in meiner Speisekammer behalten hat. Kennengelernt habe ich sie eher zufällig bei Freunden beim Grillen – damals als Discounter-Aktionsware. Ein Löffel genügte, und ich war ehrlich gesagt schockverliebt. Seitdem greife ich immer wieder genau zu dieser Variante. Geschmack: Die Sauce ist hervorragend ausbalanciert: – süß, aber nicht klebrig – rauchig, ohne künstlich zu wirken – leicht scharf, wobei sie für meinen persönlichen Geschmack sogar noch etwas mehr Schärfe vertragen könnte – vor allem aber: rund, voll und mit echter Tiefe Nichts sticht unangenehm hervor, nichts wirkt eindimensional. Genau das ist die große Stärke dieser Sauce. Sie funktioniert pur, als Glasur, zum Dippen oder als Basis für eigene Abwandlungen. Warum ich sie trotz eigener BBQ-Saucen kaufe: Weil sie konstant gut ist. Weil sie zuverlässig funktioniert. Und weil sie geschmacklich genau das liefert, was viele Fertigsaucen versprechen, aber nicht halten. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Die Honey Chipotle-Variante ist leider nur selten erhältlich. Wenn Sweet Baby Ray’s irgendwo im Handel auftaucht, sind es fast immer die Standardversionen. Die sind alle gut – aber diese hier ist für mich ganz klar der Favorit. Fazit: Eine BBQ-Sauce, die auch kritischen Selbstkochern standhält. Für mich eine der ganz wenigen Fertigsaucen, bei denen ich sage: Die darf bleiben. Klare 5 Sterne.

Good i liked it. Made a rub with adobo, pepper , garlic powder, onion powder, a little brown sugar, cumin, chili powder, paprika and baked my ribs and topped with this . Tasred awesome

De las mejores salsas BBQ que he probado!

Acquisto regolarmente questa salsa barbecue ormai da anni e trovo che sia una delle migliori. Ho vissuto in America, per mia esperienza posso dire che questa salsa ha lo stesso identico sapore di quella che vi servono nell'ovest degli Stati Uniti...ogni volta che la uso non posso non tornare con la mente ai luoghi in cui sono stato e che ho visitato. Non la definirei "piccante" ma un po' più speziata rispetto ad altre con l'aggiunta di un leggero e piacevole sentore di affumicato. Ottima salsa tuttofare per accompagnare i vari piatti tipici del bbq partendo dalle cose più semplici quali hamburger e pollo passando per le ribs, le classiche costicine di maiale, finendo con beef ribs e brisket di bovino. La uso anche nei baked beans o per la glassatura finale con l'accortezza di diluirla con un po' di miele o sciroppo d'acero scaldandola leggermente in un pentolino. L'unica nota negativa è che subisce spesso variazioni importanti di prezzo e la si può trovare a partire da soli 7 euro fino a un massimo di 14 quindi conviene farne scorta quando costa meno. Decisamente consigliata
