Shelf unit looks good. Easy to assembly. Instructions are simple. I took approximately 40 min to complete. Material is not thick. Light metal so unit a bit clumsy. All unit weight around 10kg. But for my shed will be ok. Enough space for my tools. Good price.

I have been doing DIY for 50 years - I already have heavy duty fully plastic shelving which easily holds heavy duty items with no issues at all, being plastic its totally resistant to condensation, so my first instinct was to get some more for my new large shed, but I was also looking to get shelving I could use in my flat, the plastic shelving is to industrial for this. I took a chance on this shelving after reading some reviews, on arrival I found it easy to assemble, just like a large meccano set, you could almost build it without tools. The full kit is very well designed, has a great finish and is of good quality, however, I wouldn't categorise them as heavy duty, I repeat not heavy duty in the sense of using in a shed or garage to hold car wheels and tyres, I would clasify as medium heavy duty if used in the home or office. Once assembled in two parts, lower and upper sections, I placed it in.my shed which is perfectly level, this is obviously important for its stability, once the very thin MDF shelving is fitted it becomes surprisingly stable, it doesn't rattle or move about easily even before I had fixed it to a wall. The MDF shelving is thin, I would not trust placing any heavy items on it, like a car battery, this is when its new, if there was any condensation of dampness it will clearly warp, sag and give way to any reasonably heavy item, if you intended to have it in a shed or garage over winter I would suggest varnishing or painting the MDF to protect it. In my opinion these shelving units would be perfect to use in an office or home office environment as long as you don't intend to overload them. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again for office or household use or shed if protected by varnishing or painting. It also arrived far earlier than expected. I will update once i have used them for a reasonable time period, but will most likely move it indoors to my flat after the summer months. Update - July 27th Having being using the shelving for a while with every shelf full I was pleasantly surprised that the thin mdf hasn't sagged, although tbf my shed is new and totally watertight and i gave the mdf a few coats of clear varnish, the middle supporting bar definitely works well, a neighbour has what looks like the same units but the mdf is three times thicker and it dosent have the same middle support as mine its just a thin piece of metal to keep the frame in shape, I suppose you don't need the stronger middle metal support if you have a stronger mdf shelf.

Steel frame feels industrial-grade and the shelves are adjustable, so you can fit tall items easily. Assembly was quick — no extra tools needed and everything lined up perfectly. Powder-coated finish looks clean and should resist rust. Cleared my garage clutter in an afternoon. For the price vs quality, you won’t find better. Proper heavy-duty storage that actually lasts.

I would strongly recommend avoiding this shelving unit. The product description does not make clear how poor and temporary the fitting system is. The shelves are not permanently secured with screws or proper fixings. Instead, the whole structure relies on small metal tongues on the horizontal beams being forced through holes in the frame. In total, there are around 212 frame holes where these tongues need to be squeezed through. Many of the holes are manufactured too small, so the tongues do not fit properly without force. I had to use a small screwdriver to prise most of 212 holes open just to get the beams to fit. Hammering the beams into place also dents and damages the very thin (tin-like) metal, making the shelf look awful before it has even been used. The assembly process takes hours and is far more frustrating than the listing suggests. Even after all that effort, the joints do not feel secure. The horizontal beams can easily pop out, which makes the whole structure feel weak, unreliable, and temporary. If I had known about this very poor design, the lack of permanent fixings, the damage caused during assembly, and the time required to build it, I would never have bought this shelf. This feels like a manufacturer cutting costs while passing the real cost on to customers in the form of wasted time, frustration, and a poor-quality product. I really hope Amazon takes action against rogue traders selling products like this. Very disappointing.

The self assembly instructions seem clear until, you try. Once you get the hang of making sure all the lugs are in the right place than it's easy. The cross pieces need to be bent and locked after assembly. The shelving could be thicker but once all screwed to the wall, the units are fine and do the job well. For the price, good value.

These are reasonable quality but not sturdy. I have previously bought shelves like this and these are not as good quality! The metal is quite thin and the parts are trickier to slot together. The process of assembling them is very easy, but the thinness of the metal is what makes assembly more difficult. Once assembled they are serviceable for my needs - but I am using them in a toy storage cupboard for various size and weight toys so they are fine. I would not buy them with a view to using them in a shed/garage and placing much heavier items on them as I believe they would be unfit for purpose, and probably not safe. They’re ok. Just be wary of the sturdiness.

These shelves are solid, and look good too. Once you get the idea of how they fit together they're fairly easy to assemble, although it takes a bit of force and you do need to make sure all the connections are on the exact same level else they don't go together properly. Definitely worth fixing them to the wall too, as this adds a lot of rigidity as well as safety. Good for the money.

Pacco arrivato anche prima del previsto e impacchettato alla perfezione, molto facile da montare e devo dire anche fatto molto bene, materiali ottimi e bello resistente. La costruzione è solida e robusta, e si sente che può sostenere un buon peso senza problemi. Il montaggio è stato semplice grazie alle istruzioni chiare e ben illustrate. Gli scaffali sono facili da montare una volta che si riesce a capire come si devono regolare i pezzi,e risultano decisamente stabili una volta posizionati. anticipo. Considerando la qualità dei materiali e la sua funzionalità, il rapporto qualità-prezzo è eccellente. De metalen delen waren best scherp en waren niet altijd eenvoudig in elkaar te zetten. Hij staat in onze schuur en al snel zagen we de planken doorbuigen na het in gebruik nemen ervan. En wat denk je? Na een aantal maanden zaten ze vol schimmel! Een heleboel dingen ga ik er nu niet eens meer in opbergen, bah!
