Damascus Fixed Blade Hunting Skinning knife - Full Tang Bushcraft, Camping, Full Tang Skinning knife with Sheath 10 Inches and Micarta Handle (Black)

I purchased this knife in June of 2023,waited to see how it would hold up for a review. Great looking knife and Damascus pattern blade. Craftsmanship is very good, handle fitment and details done well. It's held up to basic EDC uses,nothing but cutting uses. I agree with others, the sheath is barely functional so....I purchased an Ottoza model :350 which is much better and fit perfectly. Overall a great value for the money.

Solid sturdy knife but is not Damascus. It is Lazer etched kinda upsetting

It's a nice blade for the price but the sheath is crap I'm looking for a new sheath for the knife now. The sheath is actually unsafe because it fails to securely hold the knife.

It's a great knife at a very good price

This is a gorgeous piece of Damascus steel with undulating wavy layers. The fact that it is one piece of steel is plainly visible, as the handle is two pieces of pakka wood attached on each side. This knife has weight and feels very substantial to hold and grip. The pakka wood handle is high quality and smooth. It is laminated and sealed with what seems like epoxy, a very nice finish. The wood is milled perfectly for the shape of the steel, and there is no bump or mis-measurement when running a finger across where the wood meets the steel. The blade is thick, but came respectably sharp. Many will probably want to sharpen it up even more. The knife came wrapped in plastic and covered in oil. That made me a tad nervous that maybe it is prone to rust. The product page in one place does mention it's stainless steel. But I noticed a very slight brown discoloration near the tip a couple days after opening. It looks like the start of rust. Maybe I touched it with a damp or sweaty finger. I tried to rub and wash the stain out, but I could not. The other possibility is that it collected some glue or resin when I used it to open a package. I will update if rust is confirmed. The sheath is functional and looks nice. It's easy to remove and put back in the sheath. I really like this knife and I'm sure anyone you hand it to will also admire it. I give it five stars if it doesn't rust easily, but I will update and take a star back if I can confirm rust.
