Zeust 'Capella' Barbecue Grill Light - Durable Magnetic BBQ Light with Flexible Goose-Neck, 100% Melt-Proof, Best Grilling Light for Gas/Electric/Charcoal Grills

I liked this grill light so much that I bought a second one. The lights put out excellent illumination. The two settings makes it even better. I have one on each side of my grill. Sure beats wearing a headlamp. I have only one caution (and not with the quality of the product itself). My grill is stainless, and thus the magnets don't adhere (as stated in the product description). My grill is surrounded by flagstone, so the base has nothing magnetic to attach to, and if the light is extended to its max horizontally, it tends to want to tip. My fix was to buy a metal electric plate cover (see photo - $0.69 at Lowes) which adds huge stability. Again, I like these lights.

The Zeust barbecue light is substantial and beautiful addition to my grill. The bright chrome finish puts my somewhat dull stainless grill to shame. This will be my year to polish the outside as well as clean the inside of my grill. The light sits firmly on my left side shelf with the help of a powerful magnet. The goose neck is long enough to allow the bright light to illuminate the entire cooking area. My first winter barbecue of the year, 25 degrees and a light wind, went very well. My previous solution was my motion sensor security light which was helpful but my body blocked most of the light leaving me and the steaks in the dark, under cooked, over cooked, etc. The Zeust light is a perfect add-on for winter as well as for those late evening barbecues the rest of the year. I smoke lots of meat and have been looking for a light to meet my needs when I'm smoking at night, and I found it with this light. it works better then I though it would. I can't say enough about how good this company is, the customer service is excellent, as is the shipping. I have bought lots of things on Amazon over the years and if I was to rated this company, "excellent."

The light rusted out after 4 months. I needed to use the light a few days ago, light wouldn't turn on. Unscrewed the base of the light to replace the batteries and found the battery compartment rusted and water inside. I replaced the batteries in hopes that it would still work, but it didn't. So, now I am back to using my flashlight on my iPhone X when needing to grill at night. I guess if you never leave the light outside unless you are using it..it worked well. But who would ever think to bring this inside since it was made to be an outside light?

The 'Capella' arrived on time and was in use that same evening. This Weber natural gas BBQ is made from stainless steel and therefore a regular metal 'foot' with a good base was needed. An old loudspeaker was the answer, turned upside down and with three small rubber discs glued to the the front. The magnet on the back side sure did the trick with the base of the 'Capella' firmly attached. Good looking product and the price is right!

Light works as expected. The only minor suggested change would be to make the base a little heavier so that when a metal surface is not available you still could put it on a counter tile surface and it will not just fall over.
