Excellent window AC, quiet and powerful
The dual inverter technology really does make a MASSIVE difference in noise when compared to the window units of the recent past. This one cost more than I was planning on spending but I am so happy I did! It’s powerful and effectively cooled my living room all through a very hot summer.

Seriously great AC for travel trailer...
This is by far the best investment to date I've made for my 33 foot "live-in" full-time travel trailer. Here in Arizona where 110-120F for long stretches and 90+ being our cool days this AC exceeded what I was hoping for. Typically what I've seen here with others adding a window AC is they still need to have the less than efficient rooftop AC running as well. So I expected the same especially when I ordered it just as the heatwave was coming. Even when it's 120F, no need for rooftop AC and I set it at 65 (low) during the day and 75 (low) at night. If I'm super hot coming from outside I'll momentarily give it a medium blast for 5 mins to cool down.At night like 2-3AM (still upper 90's outside) I find myself pointing the vents away cause it's a bit chilly and that's a good thing. I mounted it in a window that is 2 feet from where my favorite lounge chair is and it super quiet. Rooftop is half way across the trailer and I always have to turn up the volume when it's on. This thing is really efficient and a fraction to operate compared to the rooftop unit.Remote is nice but the app is awesome. Way more control in the app. I love that I can turn it on off by timer or if driving back home I want it freezing when I get there you can control it as long as you have wifi for the unit and cell signal for your phone. It's just a little bigger than expected but that's only cause I was using my neighbors AC for reference but turns out here is smaller than normal. I'll say this though, it does have some weight. At 65 years old, I've always been into active sports but I really burst out in a sweat just as it was entering the case it mounts in which I really liked. Pretty simple setup if you're a DYI. I was very surprised when looking at Amazon that it is well over $100 more now and it wasn't some special sale when I bought it July 17th so I'm glad I didn't wait.Overall I am 10/10 with this one. I'm usually a Samsung purchaser so this is my first LG appliance and I wouldn't switch it for anything. Will definitely purchase another if needed and recommend to anyone asking.

Lots of cooling power.
Installation was a little bit easier than I expected given the weight of the unit. Things were helped by the fact that the cooling unit smoothly and easily slid out of the mounting frame. After installing the frame into the window opening the cooling unit slid easily back in - no snags or rough edges to catch on.All the parts were in the package and they all fit as they were supposed to. After plugging the unit in and turning on the power I let the unit run on its default settings while I set the air deflectors. It cooled the building fairly quickly. So far (about a month), I have not had any problems.A couple of things worth mentioning are:1. When using the thermostat the unit's fan will turn on once every three minutes to sample the air to determine whether the compressor needs to turn on. It is a little be distracting at first but it is pretty quiet and I do not notice it now. The frequency of the noise from turning on every three minutes is why I gave it a 4 on noise, but it is a very quiet running machine.2. The cord is rather short and comes out of the unit on the right side as you are facing it. You should measure carefully to make sure it will reach your outlet. I thought I had at least 6 inches to spare but really missed by about an inch. It is in a shop and I installed my own outlets with conduit along the walls so I was able to relocate the outlet by just enough to reach without doing any major work, but I was a little but lucky.3. We have only had a couple of days above 80 degrees so far this year so i made my judgement, "lots of cooling power", based on the speed with which it brought the temp down. However, it is an all metal building so the temps would not be bearable inside without a/c, even in the low 80's and even though it is will insulated. If it turns out to be unable to handle temps in the 95-105 range I will update. So far, though, I have not used anything beyond the lowest settings so it seems likely that there will not be an issue.4. The review tool asks to rate the energy efficiency. It is too soon to tell. I thought that leaving it blank might calculate as a zero in the averages so I gave it a 4. It might be a 5.update: (4/14/22) My shop is a 30x30 metal building and last summer I kept the temp set at 78 when I was out and down to 72 when I was using it. It cooled quickly and maintained a low temp easily. I have used energy saver and low fan speed almost exclusively. This is in Texas where the average high was around 95 or so for June through September. So I would say it has lots of cooling power. Also, I did not have a electric bill above 90 during that time, including shop lights and various machinery. The shop is well insulated but, still, I would say it is efficient.

Very quiet and a great value for 6000 BTU
Very happy with this unit. Very quiet compared to my old air conditioner. I love the remote. Very simple to understand. Installation was easy and everything was supplied. At 70 lbs. it's a little heavy but I was still able to install it without any help. It's nice looking too! Good value for 6000 BTU.

Delivered Faulty. Difficult installation.
I was delivered damaged product. The box was damaged but I quickly learned the AC unit had also taken some hard hits before it got to me. I had hoped they were just cosmetic knocks, but during the installation I knew I was in trouble when certain screw holes were not lining up due to the hits which had bent the frame. Once I had installed it, I turned it on and the machine was very loud, presumably as a result of the knocks and was now fault. Installation was pretty painful. I had to purchase some wood to sit under the unit so I could anchor the machine into the wood, which was told screwed into my windowsill. I’ll have to uninstall this machine now in order to submit my return. I hope they’re going to collect it cos I’ve absolutely no way of being this huge heavy machine anywhere.
