Aleene'sJewel-It embellishing glue 118ml

I usually use Gem-tac for fabric and non fabric projects but thought i'd give this a try as its alot cheaper. Sadly the two glues are like chalk and cheese when it comes to quality. Jewel-it has been a real let down for me and I personally won't be purchasing it again. I use ALOT of different glues for different projects and I really wouldnt advise using this as a cheaper alternative to Gem-tac, its very different to work with.I've found it to be nothing more than a simple paper craft glue. In fact it works and feels EXACTLY the same as Dovecraft ultimate craft glue. It takes a long time to dry , your gems slip about or fall off whilst your working if you lightly touch or bump them, it has no instant grab. Gems are no where near as secure as they should be once the glue is dry.It maybe ok for certain craft projects but for me this glue just doesnt meet the standards I need it for.

This is my second bottle.It won’t take weight but it’s good in many ways.Keep cap on and it won’t dry up.

Bought this to glue some embellishments onto a very sensitive hand made dress. It's basically full of embellisments and there wasn't a way for me to fix it other way. So i used this glue, with a small stick put a little drop of the glue onto to thread thats damaged and after few min stick the embelishment on it pressing it a bit with the tweezer (i used tweeser as embellishments are really tiny) you can't even tell it's been repaired!It works well so far, the colour goes clear and not even noticable once is dry. Sticks perfect so it's a really great product, really cheap aswell! As it's delivered from the USA the estimate for the UK was about 2 weeks away... I literally got it about a week after i've ordered. Great service. Thank you

Brilliant for attaching embellishments to fabric did transfer some to small craft bottles (purchased) from here just for the more tiny gems was easy to use without usual tackiness haven’t washed item yet so cannot comment but feel very positive about the product and this is the one I will be using from now on. Have used Aleene’s fabric glue and do not think in my opinion that you could fault there products.

Really happy with this product. Need it for hair bow making and decorating so it is perfect for my use. Love the fine tip nozzle too.
