Un buon libro che propone esempi pianistici in diverso stile. Non adatto per imparare a suonare (non insegna tecniche e non fornisce esercizi didattici) Molto buono , invece per comprendere diversi stili e linguaggi, attraverso una serie di esempi musicali. Consigliatissimo per chi già suona e desidera arricchire il bagaglio con nuove idee.

While Harrison's book does not necessarily offer any NEW information for anyone who has studied keyboard music or composition in general (either in the classroom or the "real" world), it nonetheless offers really USEFUL information. Harrison's writing is clear and cogent, just as his Keyboard Style Series books always are. (I especially like his Contemporary Jazz Piano: Contemporary Jazz Piano - The Complete Guide with CD!: Hal Leonard Keyboard Style Series .) I hope everyone who loves playing keys will enjoy reading about all of the melodic and rhythmic patterns that this book identifies as much as I so. Highly recommended.
