Very, very sharp and comfortable to use.
I was instantly impressed as soon as I got this out of the box. Itโs so sharp it practically slices through vegetables by gravity alone. Very little hand pressure and it slices straight down through a raw potato. Very comfortable and easy to control. It doesnโt slice off in some unwanted direction, it slices how you guide it. Iโve bought a bunch of kitchen prep knives recently and this one is the best when it comes to razor sharpness, comfort, control and style. Iโd expect this to be a lot more expensive but Iโm glad it is budget friendly yet very professional in its quality.

Excellent quality and sharpness!
Iโm an avid Bushcrafter; subsequently, I have many very high quality and expensive knives. Due to low price, I really didnโt expect much, but I was super surprised! The Santorum knife was high quality and extremely sharp out of the box and I would recommend this to all my friends especially for the price.

Eno-pauper: Cheap Knife for a Cheap Price
BLUF: Sturdy, okay handling, holds an edge poorly. Looks better than the price, but still a cheap knife. Probably a Chinese brand made for US markets (this brand had only 2 listed products on Amazon.jp and the ad pictures were all in English, so definitely not a Japanese market brand). Don't kid yourself, you bought this knife for the same reason I did: you needed a kitchen knife. This is certainly a kitchen knife. Is it a good one? No, but you probably knew that when you looked at the price. With that in mind, it's surprisingly sturdy and doesn't look like a cheap knife. The handle more comfortable than it looks, but also not the most ergonomic/comfortable grip to use for long periods of time. For the price this is all fine, but you'll need to sharpen it a lot. Like most cheap kitchen knives, this blade holds an edge for about a week or two with regular use before you need to sharpen it. As a functioning sociopath, I actually enjoy knife maintenance, but this may be tedious for people who expect a better quality product (which in that case, buy a better knife). Other than the look and durability (so far), it's an average knife for the price.

Feels and works awesome
I wanted to upgrade our knives and took a chance with these! Glad I did! At first the wife was a little intimidated by the look and said she wouldnโt use them, now I canโt get her to let me cut anything up! Highly recommended

Good knife for the price.
Really good value for the price. Quality is good. I'm a knife collector, and have some really expensive knives. This knife for the price is definitely worth it. Came sharp out the box; gave it a few swipes on the honing steel and is now shaving sharp. Tested on tomatoes and can slice extremely thin with no effort. I seen people in the reviews complaining about rust but that's because you're supposed to oil it. After washing and drying it, you coat it with a thin layer of food grade mineral oil with a paper towel and it will never rust. Just part of the maintenance with these types of knife steels. Personally I would not wash this in the dishwasher, it will most likely be rusted by the time you take it out.

Sharp, efficient, and nicely balanced
So happy to have discovered this knife. I cook a lot of Japanese and Korean food so I'm constantly chopping vegetables and this handles the job perfectly, from shredding cabbage and lettuce and perfect matchsticks of daikon and carrot. It is SHARP, so kitten paws when cutting to protect yourself. I even sliced a heel of bread in half to make a sandwich and it cut it easily!

Great quality for price
I've had it for a few months and it is still sharp but not as sharp as when I first got it. That is still quite sharp though because when I first got it, it was so sharp that I cut my finger twice from handling it carelessly. To keep it from rusting just dry it properly after washing and it will be good. Really beautiful knife.
