CamelBak Podium Chill Insulated Bike Water Bottle 21 oz, Fiery Red

It was tough to decide on four or five stars for this product but I went with five stars because the most important thing to me is that it doesn't have a plastic smell. Also a plus is that it is comfortable to hold and use. You get water by squeezing the soft lower part of the bottle. The only reasons that I may have given it four stars is 1) the color is not a bold solid color and 2) the twist open/close is a little too tight.To elaborate, the color comes from the insulation layer in between the two plastic walls. So the color is a little wrinkly (because it's insulation), and is dulled by the clear plastic outer layer. When I think about it from a practical point, this is preferable because I'd rather not have dyed plastic and I also don't have to worry about the color being scratched or rubbed out.As for the top lock, it is a good design to lock and unlock. You don't have to put your fingers on the mouth piece, it has good lever action, and it twists to an open or closed position which is more reliable than a push/pull action. However, it is just a little too tight which causes some inconvenience when running. Maybe it will loosen a little over time but overall, not really a big deal.This review is on the red 21oz that I bought my husband after purchasing a white 24oz for myself. I love mine but after seeing the size of his, I am going to buy myself the smaller size, too. For only 3oz of water, the smaller size is much more convenient and comfortable in my belt. I'll keep the larger one for outings other than exercise because the insulation is decent and it is much more convenient to carry than my fantastically insulated metal cup that is not spill proof.

Nice bottle! But it’s wide. So it might give you some trouble getting it in and out of some cages. But keeps your liquids nice and cool for a while! 👍

My 8-year-old uses it as a water bottle for school! Doesn’t leak and doesn’t break when dropped!

I bought two of these bottles for the bright red color to match my bike. I bought CamelBak bottles for my bike just over 5 years ago. They've been great bottles even after years of use. However, the tops on these are awful. Very cheap and hard plastic lids that are not easy to open and close. With any condensation on the cap, they are too slick to grip and turn to open. The redesign is a big fail. I resorted to using the new bottles which are gorgeous with the lids from my old bottles. CamelBak, please rethink the lids. You had a great product.

Work well and fit nicely in the cage.

Have been using the CamelBak Podium Bottles for years on my bikes. No issues, but I would replace them every couple years if you use drinks other than water just to keep them fresh.

Does it’s job for a least 6 hours

Just received my bottle...Real quick delivery. Clearly not the same "red" as the one on the picture. Not of fan of the clear plastic covering the red insulation. I just wished the had made the entire bottle the same color as the cap, but the bottle works as they claim it would; keeps the water really cold. And it's easy to drink from, even with lock open, the seal keeps the water from dripping. Great bottle overall

Good quality, the colour is muted due to the insulating skin..but that does not deter. Keeps liquid cooler, for a while. Am satisfied with the shape and fit to cradle on the bike.

使いやすいし、飲みやすいしいてあげるならば、最後まで飲みきれない事、それ以外は大満足
