I may have misunderstood what I was getting when I selected this product; I thought they were just toothbrushes and not used with dental equipment. I can still share my observations of them as I did use one as a toothbrush! Evidently, after reading the title, it looks like these toothbrushes are like tubes that terminate into the bristles. The tube itself is strong rigid plastic that did not give much and did not crack or break when using them. They have a soft green pad on the non-bristle side that looks to be a small sponge. The bristles were strong, medium bristles that do not come out like they do in less expensive toothbrushes. They are individually wrapped and easy to open and very clean.

My son is bed bound and I used these several times before to clean his teeth. A few days ago I decided to use a flashlight to look closely at his teeth and to my startling surprise, he had toothbrush bristles in his mouth!Had I not used the flashlight I would never have known. And how many times prior did they come off, end up down his throat, or into his lungs? ( He has a trach and is not always properly swallowing)

I’m bed bound so these are perfect for me and just the right size.
