LOVE the game but same manufacturing defects in the first and replacement
I first unknowingly got a fake copy of Perplexus and absolutely love it, later found out Perplexus is the original and as I’ve finished the fake copy (of the Perplexus original) I have to get the more difficult Epic.I didn’t disappoint about the game YET step 36 has a manufacturing defect (see pictures) on both the first one I received and also the replacement. In fact the replacement is slightly better, which I can push the track on top slightly through the transparent shell to let the ball go through. Note this is not an obstacle by design, I simply cannot go through step 36 on the first one I received. I’ve considered simply return it and get refund but I just can’t find a physical toy store that sell this. I’m planning to order a replacement again to see if I can get one completely free of this defect, as even there’s the “workaround” I’ve mentioned above, I worry that this issue would get worse at a point my “workaround” stopped working.I’m not sure if this is a widespread issue, as I can’t find any mentioning of step 36 online, or it is just this batch.

Great gift!
Bought for my big kid of a husband. Really pleased to open the box and find the item packed very solidly, and the actual gift in perfect condition packaging. Looks great, quite big - thanks!

Lots of fun but lower build quality than the beast
The ball quite often gets stuck between the rails and the outer wall, as wellIt’s still a fantastic toy

Great toy but a bit cheaply made
Great toy, but for the price, the material is very cheap. I am worried that the shell of the ball will be scratched from use. Also the display stand could have at least been a thicker solid material instead of a cheap transparent sheet of plastic.

A good brain teaser
This was a gift and the person who received it likes it very much and says its a good brain teaser.

Terrible quality control
I had the original Superplexus as a kid, and I bought this hoping for the same quality of toy I had back then, but to say I'm incredibly disappointed is putting it kindly. The shell that was once thick and rigid is now flimsy and thin and feels like it could tear at any moment.I have also experienced the same defect on step 36, which seems to be a widespread issue. There is another defect on step 18, where a piece is not connected correctly. The maker must sort out their quality control because this isn't on.

Poorly made.
The ball will not pass through section 36, it is fouled by another section of track. This is the second Epic I have had delivered after the first one had the same problem. And will be returning this one too.I purchased a white Epic about 7 years ago and it’s been great, so I decided to buy one for my nephew, but it’s pretty clear that the build quality is not as good as the older ones. The see-saw at the start is also another indication of poor build, in my old white one this obstacle is pretty easy. In the new grey/purple one i could only get across 1 in 10 times as it’s miss aligned on the receiving end.To have exactly the same problems on two products points to a lack quality control or consideration. Such a shame for what was a great toy.(Obviously haven’t been able to run through the whole maze to see if there are more issues)
