Was challenging to assemble had to work around some manufacturing errors. Somewhat weatherproof, have several houses some the paint peeled up, but perfect addition for my cat garden and cats enjoy laying in and on them. Live in Southern CA so not much extreme weather. Great addition!

Overall, I am happy with my purchase. However, that could change over time depending on the durability. The instructions definitely need improvement. The screws were mislabeled. The written instructions included D screws that were in the same baggie with B & C. In addition, the written instruction does not include which siding goes on the left or right. The stairs should be on the left side of the doghouse which is not clearly identified which caused excess time and effort to correct. My advice to future buyers is to compare the photos to the written instructions.My intention is to use this for my Yorkie while we enjoy the remainder of the summer/fall. Since this will be outdoors I’m curious to see how it will hold up in the rain and snow. I suspect that I will have to repaint it to ensure it is well protected against the weather. That is a minor task.. But, I think it is super adorable and fits well with my décor.I gave this 4 stars simply for the poor instructions.

Sadly there were parts missing so we couldn’t add the roof. I did contact the seller so just waiting for a response. Assembly was tricky for some parts didn’t have the wholes for the screws. You have to be precise when putting sides together if not the wood will split. Cute for our 2 month kitten but just not sure how long it will last.

What could have been an easy assembly turned into a nightmare. No holes were available for the screws in the side panels or the railings. I had to drill my own holes. In the roof where holes were available, they did not align at all so new holes had to be drilled for the screws. Otherwise the house came out pretty but definitely a lot of extra work was put into it.

The end product looks great. I had to shave some wood as the main floor would not go together. A few pre drilled holes were off. I know my way around wood and made it all work. End result, is super cute and exactly what I wanted. Plan to purchase a second one !

I don’t even know where to begin... So, the kit comes with 5 sets of screws according to the instruction paper, labeled A,B,C,D,E. I had only 2 bags of screws one labeled B and the other labeled with two different stickers E and P. So now I’m tearing the whole box apart again trying to find the other three bags and I’m thinking they didn’t even pack the other 3 sizes. I finally open the two bags and notice there are various sizes mixed in both bags. So I divide them up based on the amount of each screw that’s in the instructions. I did have all of the screws. Now that issue is sorted, on to building... there are no pre drilled holes to show where the pieces go together like in most ‘build it yourself’ kits. It’s built now after several choice words. Bottom line, if it was 10 bucks I wouldn’t complain. But it was a good chunk of my hard earned money for something that probably shouldn’t have made it past quality control.

Overall this is a cute dog house and it suits my needs. I bought it for our feral cats for the winter months. It was relatively easy to assemble but the screws were all mislabeled so some guess work was required. It comes completely disassembled including the rails. Its sturdy enough but I did make a few adjustments to it. The top beam along the roof doesn't call to be anchored down but it makes more sense to do so or it easily falls off. Overall its good for the price and will work perfectly for me. If I were able I would give it 4 and a half stars!

This was advertised as both indoor and outdoor - Fail. It took 4 hours to assemble, plus a box of bandaids. The outside edges on many pieces are rough and leave splinters. The roof sections are actually roofing paper, however the roof is joined with a piece of plastic ridge cover, it’s neither water nor weatherproof. The finished product is cute looking, but cramped on space even for my 8lb kitten. That same kitten loves new things to explore but has shown no further interest in the cottage since sniffing around it for a few minutes. This was a real disappointment.
