I am extremely happy with this portable air conditioner. It cools my room very quickly and keeps the temperature comfortable even on warm days. The unit is easy to set up, and the exhaust hose fits neatly to the window. It feels well-built, runs efficiently, and the controls are simple to use. The airflow is strong, and within a short time the whole room feels noticeably cooler. Despite being powerful, the noise level is reasonable for a portable air conditioner. The compact design also makes it easy to move around when needed. Overall, this is a fantastic product that does exactly what it promises. Great value for money, reliable performance, and highly recommended for anyone looking for an effective portable air conditioning unit.

I got this today and my first impressions great The packaging was great, very well protected with bubble wrap etc. Instructions were easy to follow due to an in depth manual with pictures and clear instructions. Fan speed is very fast and blows harder than I anticiapted. The cooling feature is of course decent and the overall weight of the unit is manageble, especially when wheeling it around. The dehumidifying feature is what suprised me the most, the efficiency of removing moisture from the air is exceptional and work's well. Positives: - Easy to setup - Comes well packaged - Easy to move around - Cools quickly - A Relatively compact unit - Nice aesthetic - Very efficient at around £12 per month (when used correctly i.e. correct window seal) - Timer feature - Hose length is completely adequate. A few downsides that I see with the unit are: - The Window sealing kit that is provided is only for sliding windows, as opposed to casement, especially since casement are easily the most common window fitting in the UK. (I already knew this was a problem for me before purchasing and picked up a casement kit for around £10.) - The current temperature of the room isn't displayed on the unit at all. It said in the description that i had this feature but I am yet to find it. - The fins don't automatically move so the cooled air isn't automatically directed around the room. - The remote isn't very stylist and doesn't come with batteries included (2xAAA Required). Overall very happy with this purchase and if those other features were added without an increase in price, this product could be well up there with the £350+ units. 4.5/5* from me! :)

The set up was simple and the instructions are simple to follow. The Portable A/C works great. The noise level fine for a portable unit. I Recommend users think carefully about how the flexible hose is exhausted to the outside. To generate the correct room temperature, a lot of heat is exhausted to the outside, therefore care must be taken, that the heat is not circulating back into the room. I would recommend thermal insulated flexible hose would be a great improvement, but at a cost. Please note this is not a criticism of the portable A/C unit.

Bought this portable AC recently and overall I’m quite happy with it. The cooling is pretty effective for a small to medium-sized room, especially during warmer days. Setup was straightforward, and the window kit included was useful. I also liked the different modes like cooling, fan, and dehumidifier, which make it versatile. It is a bit noisy, as expected with portable air conditioners, but manageable. The remote control and timer functions are convenient as well. For the price, it does a good job and feels like good value for money. Would recommend it for anyone looking for an easy portable cooling solution.

It arrived on last Wednesday, and it can be setup easily. It came with all required accessories for the setup. It is great as it lowered the room temperature efficiently. It equipped with timer and it is very useful. It can be switched off after certain period of time when the room temperature is decreased. Although it is a bit loud, it could still fall into sleep without issue. Overall, it is a good purchase!

Bad points (there are A LOT): The window attachment is not suitable for UK windows that open from either the bottom or the middle and open outwards. It is only suitable for windows that slide open. It is VERY loud. There is no sleeping with it on. It is not very powerful, nowhere near as powerful as it claims. Takes several hours to meaningfully affect the temperature of a double bedroom, and even then it’s weak. It’s heavy to lift. Most people would struggle to move it around. It uses loads of energy, and is very expensive to run for the poor output. Positives: It’s portable. Summary: This is NOT worth the money. Find a different unit.

I bought this ahead of the heat wave last week. I've had window-mounted ACs in the past (in a country where it was more common) and so that is the only reference I have for comparison. Cooling performance: It is fine, but not as cold as expected. We run this on a 2rd floor of an attached town home, where heat really gets trapped. When it was 30ºC out, this brought it down to 25º. So, definitely does cool things down somewhat. This is rated 7000 BTU, so I thought it would be good for the entire floor which fits within the rating. It seems to struggle doing just the room that it's in. In all fairness, it is up against the sun, the hot air rising, neighbors and heat trapped in the attic. However, I have lived in similar scenarios with a window-mounted AC and that seemed like it did a bit better. Maybe in part due to there not being a hose that will inevitably leak some exhaust (but not too much). The reviews here have really made me think this performs miracles and I would say it makes heat waves livable but nothing near the 20º I set it to. Noise: It's more noisy than I expected after reading other reviews. It takes awhile to get used to the sound of the condenser and our first nights sleeping with it was not easy. My partner finds it very unnerving and too noisy. I also really dislike that after it reaches the set temperature, the fan noise is still quite loud and does not turn off with the condenser, so it's not like it's only part of the night that it's noisy. It's the entire night. Setup: It was almost perfect, I just have one criticism. While they do give instructions and they're well-written, there is a major miss on how you actually get the nut and screw into the window panel. I figured it out (I think..?) after awhile to stop the pane from moving once it's fixed into the window. But given the danger here of it falling out the window onto a busy street when you disconnect the hose, I would recommend the manufacturer be a bit more specific about the screw part because I personally don't think it's incredibly obvious and it's not written anywhere. Overall, it was worth it to me this week but given the concerns above I don't think we'll be using it unless it's really bad out. If I had the opportunity to try other units without putting more money into it, I certainly would've. It's a gamble when you buy these off Amazon. I gave an extra star for being a sturdy unit and easy to wheel around.

Really happy with our new aircon unit! Got it just at the end of the May heatwave and so impressed with it so far. Its compact enough that it doesnt take up loads of space but still powerful enough to cool the whole downstairs of our house within a few hours (just 1 room took only half hour). Was so nice to come inside to a fridge like temperature out of the heat when the kids were struggling - highly recommend and easy to use
