I thought Olukai were kind of high end sandals. This one has rubbery toe straps that chafe. It's not a terrible sandal, but certainly not what you expect when you spend really good money.

I've been a fan of Olukai for years. I bought these on a prime-day sale and thought they were a good deal. The way the strap is built makes for a hot spot on my foot after a short period of time. The material is more rigid and doesn't want to break in the way the Ohanas do. While not completely flat-footed, I don't have as high an arch as others, so if you're like me with feet on the flatter side, these may be very uncomfortable.
