In my opinion it gives you more control over the sound. Some TV is really quiet and needs some extra oomph, and sometimes the bass is just too much... especially at night. The soundbar with subwoofer lets you control that bass separately.

No, unfortunately, The Saiyin soundbar does not support HDMI ARC. Your TV would need to have either an AUX 3.5mm, optical or Bluetooth audio output option.
