I really was hoping these would work, but the three I received did not have enough of the resin particles on the inside of them. I tried everything to make them work - I tried manipulating and massaging them to evenly distribute the particles and I soaked the pieces even longer than the required time. My bandanas came out rather limp as you can see in my picture and nothing like what is shown in the ad or video where the bandanas are nice and plump and ready to “cool” a four-footed friend. I certainly could have used some that were filled with the beads during our last days of 90° weather, but unfortunately the top one in my picture plumped up a little bit, the middle one, hardly at all except for about 3 inches on one row, and the bottom blue one had some beads in half of bottom row and absolutely no beads in the top section. Perhaps even partially filled with beads they’ll help a little bit, just because the bandanas are wet, and the bandanas are easy to tie on and seem soft and comfortable enough, but I wish they had been filled with more of the cooling resin particles.

The ad shows the fabric full of the gel beads. There was maybe 10 tiny beads in one and about 3 in the other two. Naturally, the collar doesn't work. It was returned.

I live in the south word certainly gets very hot during spring and summer! Add humidity on top of the heat! My dog still likes to go to the dog park, but you can tell she wears out quickly after a few minutes in that hot heat. These seem to help a bit, as far as cooling her down after playtime. They did dry up a bit quicker than I anticipated, but I plan to soak them longer next time and keep them in a plastic bag to see if that helps.

These are as described. Looks super cute on the dog. Easy to use.

I was hoping to use these to cool off my dog since I had similar ones in the past. These need to have plenty of beads to work, but these are a disappointment. I know there should be more beads, and these were lacking. I will return.

These bandanas are strips of material folded over and serge sewed together with about 1 teaspoon of water-absorbing beads inside. Pretty cheaply made. When you soak it for 30 minutes, the beads expand to fill about a third of the tube.I tried the soaked bandanas myself and on my dog. My dog couldn’t tell me how it felt, but he wore it without trying to pull it off. Initially, the bandana felt cool, but started to get warm after about 10-15 minutes. At that point, the wet non-beaded portion of the bandana felt cooler. I compared the performance with a plain cooling towel, and the cooling towel stayed cool longer. So I could basically use a cooling towel on my dog at about the same price and have a better result. And I don’t have to wait 30 minutes to use it.

I have a little dog that is 17 pounds and the complete cooling part with the beads inside goes completely around his neck and then the tie is extra. I think this would work for a many sizes of dogs, but if it’s a large dog, the scarf will go around its neck but the cooling beads probably won’t. Meaning half of the scarf is beads and then half of it is the part to tie around the neck.The process a simple to get the scarves ready to wear, simply soak them in cold water, redistribute the beads evenly by massaging them in the scarf, and then re-soaking. After my dog wore it the first time, I hand washed it and noticed that some of the little beads came out. But it still works great and it’s keeping him cool in this 90+ degree humid weather. Placing the scarf in fridge will keep it cool for your pup as well.Overall, I think the current price of $13.99 is a good deal for these 3 scarves. I think the scarves might be a little big for dogs under 15 lbs, but they work well for my 17 lb dog, and the scarf is long enough for bigger necks, but the cooling beads won’t necessarily reach around the entire neck of bigger dogs.
