Good sound, loud enough, great build quality
Was looking for a speaker to pair with my recent laptop purchase that only puts out low-volume via its' own speakers, and this fits the bill. Considered a number of other options, but didn't like the lights, nor no-name aspect of the ones under $20, even with the good reviews. Chose the OontZ Ultra since I liked the original OontZ Angle purchased years ago. This is a solid build, great design, and puts out a nice blend of frequencies in non-distorted sound. When I got it, it was semi-charged, and was fully charged within an hour, even though I was playing songs from my laptop. Very satisfying bass when within 5-10 feet. Crisp high-frequency production, and very good mid-range sounds. Listened to a number of 1970s songs over 2 hours and was very happy of the sound quality. No need to crank up the volume control to 100%, the sound for 1970's rock was perfect at about 67-70% for my setup. I chose this over the Angle3 in part due the usb-c charger connection. Price was maybe $5 more, and I think the bass is a bit fuller. I do think the Angle3 is a great option, as it does put out bright mid-range sound. Bluetooth connection was flawless and quick. As with the original Angle, OontZ/Cambridge Soundworks puts out a very high-quality and solid build. At the Prime-Day sale price, this was great value for money!

Great Value and Product Quality in a Fine-Sounding Bluetooth Speaker
This is my third Bluetooth speaker from Cambridge Soundworks, and I've been very happy with all three of them. This one is the "Angle 3 Ultra" model, which is a nice combination of small-format size and unexpectedly loud and bassy sound. It's not as nice as the JBL Charge 3 Waterproof Portable Bluetooth Speaker (Blue) but that speaker is three times the price. The JBL beats this one in volume, bass, and design/build, but it should when you pay three times the price. This Cambridge Soundworks Angle 3 Ultra may be all you need in many cases. For example, I have the white one which I leave in the shower. It has plenty of power to use while showering, has great sound, and the white seems to resist the build-up of water stains that I always wrestled with when using my previous black models (it looks better in the shower, too!). The speaker has a quality feel, and all the controls and lights are on one side of the device, which is very convenient. The speaker gives rich sound, so much so that you'll possibly be using the equalizer on your player to turn down the lower frequencies, particularly if you are listening to voice. If you are interested, this speaker can also be connected, using the suppied cable, to a second speaker to double the sound output and add some interesting options for playback. That's not what I wanted it for, but it's worth mentioning, and if you download the user manual, you can see how this works. Neat idea. Although it does not come with a case, there are plenty of third-party cases that are designed SPECIFICALLY for this exact model, so you can get a custom fit case for the speaker. Finally, as much as I like this speaker, and I DO, if you want something more powerful and has SUPERB build quality, check out the JBL before you buy. These run at about $120 or so, depending on the color you select, but they are in a league of their own in sound and build quality. Absolutely superb. But if you are looking for a medium-duty speaker that sounds very good, this Cambridge Soundworks 3 Angle Ultra is a great choice. Five stars. Great little speaker!
Ordered this nice little speaker because ford/lincoln wanted over $350.00 just to fix the software problem on my Lincoln Synch radio. C'mon..... $350.00 to fix a software problem on a system that never really worked correctly?! Instead of giving me a break on the repair (dealer only fix), they tried to get me to trade in. Nothing wrong with the car mechanically. Beautiful car too. But, the smug service lady said the car is older (2011) and the radio is outdated and broken so I should consider trading it in....I'm like What?? Car is paid off. Why in the hell should I consider trading it in & getting back into car payments just for a freakin buggy radio system?! Told her what she could do with her idea & walked out. Enter this little speaker and its' reviews and decided to take the plunge. It's got bluetooth and a built-in mic. Connected to my Iphone, it's got everything my crappy Synch system had. Sound is above acceptable for a unit this size and way above the Iphone speaker. In the car, it's loud enough to hear music & on calls, I hear them and they hear me perfectly. Battery time is excellent. The 20hr battery life description is probably right on the money. I only charge it once per week and I use it daily listening to music while doing chores, sewing or gardening. I've dropped it more than once into my garden sink full of water and it just kept on playing like nothing happened. Better the speaker than my phone I say. : ) All-in-all, this little speaker has proved itself useful, convenient, budget-friendly and sadly more reliable than the piece of crap Lincoln Synch system I was forced into. Any item that can soothe my nerves and help the wallet is alright in my book.

Great BT Speaker for the money
As most have said that this is as good as it gets with regard to a Bluetooth speaker for the price and quality it offers. I got an additional $5 off the speaker when I ordered it bringing it to less than $40 out the door including next day Prime shipping. The design and features are excellent. Like the triangle shape and buttons on the side which also allow you to pause and jump between music tracks. It is even splash resistant so it can handle a sprinkle of water. So as far as sound quality goes it is loud when you do turn it up. However the best way I can describe the sound is "flat" compared to my higher end Sony Bluetooth speaker. The sound range is not as dynamic although the sound comes out crisp. If you intend to use it mostly for outdoor or travel use like at the pool, park, beach, etc, then it will be just fine. However if you want a finer tuned audio experience regardless of music type you listen to, then I would recommend you spend more money on a higher end speaker. So overall if you are looking for long battery life, a loud speaker, good features and decent sound quality for under $50, this is the speaker to get.

They Work As Advertised With A Little Audio App Assistance
I bought a pair of these Cambridge Soundworks OontZ Angle 3 Ultra (4th gen) Bluetooth speakers to use in my garage to play stereo (left and right channels). They come partially charged (and you can use them while they are charging) but I charged them up fully before using them. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION BOOK CAREFULLY and you won't have any problems! They paired with my Android phone very easily and very quickly, too. Initially, I found the sound quality was not very good--near zero bass and very tinny highs. I was very disappointed. However, I used an audio enhancement app on my cellphone to make some adjustments with an equalizer and sound booster and it sounded a little better. Then I realized that the speaker I had on the right was playing louder than on the left, I swapped them, re-Bluetooth paired them and...same issue. Then I noticed that the manual says that using the on-device volume control only controls that unit, even when they are paired to play in stereo (or in dual mode). Bummer, you need to adjust the volume on each speaker. But then I installed the OontZ smartphone app and discovered that it would allow for single volume control--yay! Note that you MUST allow for all of the various cellphone access (location, photos, etc.) when installing the app or it will not work because it won't be able to find your installed speakers. That's a pet peeve of mine because why does an audio app need photo access or location access? I also made a little adjustment in the app's equalizer (just three ranges, not sophisticated at all) and the sound quality improved a little more to an acceptable (though not stellar) level. My garage is about 19' wide x 18' deep. At maximum volume, it is decently audible even when standing as far away from the speakers as possible but the loudness at that point isn't very good. However, when closer to the unit, it's just as loud as I could (usually) want. When it's warmer outside and I'm working out on the driveway I'll find out if it's really enough volume. They certainly don't have the audio power (or rich bass) of one of the much more expensive JBL Flip Bluetooth speakers. But on sale for about $61 for the pair of these OontZ Bluetooth speakers? Good deal.

Great product for the price, has track back/forward buttons
I own the Bose Mini, a nice Sony, a TDK, and a few other portable blue tooth speakers. I got this for the bathroom since it is water resistant, the Bose is not AND it has track forward/back buttons! We use it in a shower caddy and listen to it during our morning routines/showers. It works well for this and no worries of it getting wet. Why I bought it and enjoy about it - it has back/forward buttons on the unit so I can quickly and easily move through a song, next song, rewind at a touch of the button since we don't keep our phone near us in the shower. None of my other mobile units have that capability, none of the Bose, and most other units I researched on Amazon didn't have those functions. We enjoy being able to easily forward a song on Pandora or XM while listening in the shower just by touching a button. The sound is good for the size, not as good as the Bose, but good for the price and plenty good enough for the shower. I give it a 5 star for sound per size/cost, a 5+ star for features and ease of use, and build quality. For the price and the great features and decent sound along with water resistance, you can't beat it. Having the track back/forward buttons on the unit was the deal maker - apparently that function is too hard to comprehend and implement for Bose and all the other manufacturers out there. Most folks might not be close to their phone or want to pull it out/get it just to forward the track - but can easily do it from the speaker if near it while in the shower, or in the pool, or near water and not wanting to have their phone near them or near the water.

Striking design - For the price, it's awesome.
I bought this to connect to an Echo Input in my bathroom. It comes in white, so it's non-distracting, and nearly invisible. When someone notices it, it's a pleasant surprise- Which is exactly what I wanted. Sound quality is far better than most bluetooth speakers under $40, far better than nearly all under $30. It is much better than I expected, even while playing Janelle Monae tracks from her newest albums. It has better bass response than the Echo Dot, though the waterproofing muddies the higher registers, as is common even with the Flip 4. My restroom is small and it fills up the space with sound, and it is audible in my whole apartment. I hadn't expected that. The Anker Soundcore 2 probably sounds a bit better, but the design was completely wrong for its intended purpose. It's a big dark block which stands out, and it's kind of ugly - as it's built more for outdoor activities. I have a JBL Flip 4, and it does not come close to that in sound quality, but it costs 2x as much, and I did not need something that big or expensive in my restroom. In white, the Flip 4 would fit, but it would be an expensive overkill. Most of the time, I'm listening to NPR News while showering. There are two annoyances, which kept me from giving it a perfect score. 1) there is feedback when using a 3.5mm plug, that persists even after changing the cord - I don't have a gold tipped plug - but it was annoying enough I had to use the bluetooth connection which 2) caused lag. I have it set at +290ms, to fix it, but it always takes a few seconds to adjust when playing in the everywhere group. Sometimes, it will go out of phase, and then correct itself. The second annoyance is probably an Amazon thing, since they have a fix available, but it would be preferable to simply plug it in to the input. I took it to work for the firmware update, and my students quickly wanted to know the company that made it. I do prefer top buttons, but compared to most bluetooth speakers at this price they are comprehensive, and relay a lot of information about the operation. The Flip 4 could use a user interface as communicative as this one. I really like the buttons, but wish they were on top. All in all, I am very pleased with its performance, design, and ease of use. It replaces a Jam Audio Hang Up which retails at $30, and it's a much richer sound for not much more money. It cost less than the Jam Audio Chill Out retail price, and is still a much better speaker. I would definitely buy again, and I may do so to make a stereo pair.
