Doesn’t have the volume as depicted in the image, it definitely needs a puffy underskirt to have this desired effect.One of the earrings was broken on arrival. The gems fell off of the wand very quickly and the pin part to the brooch came off which is a real hazard.Otherwise it’s a nice looking costume

For what it costs one can't really expect much but this is a fair bit better than some toher similar products.The main thing is she is happy with this dress and likes to be a "princess", as most three year old's do.One thing I can say is that the quality of this dress is actually better than some of the much more expensive ones sold by that company that also produce kids cartoons and movies. I still recall getting a fairy tale character costume from that company 20 years ago and the quality was nowhere near this product. The branded one was made mainly of a plastic material and my daughter only wore it once due to it's itchiness. This dress is much, much better in that it is much softer, looks better and it doesn't itch.As soon as she seen this she wanted it out of the packaging and to wear it immediately. As she has other bits and pieces from other costumes she was soon running around with her magic wand, casting spells that were meant to turn people into frogs.As for the description mentioning "Halloween", sadly that is an American thing and it is destroying the event, where one can see everything from superman and wonder woman to a baseball player costume rather than the traditional witch, goblin etc. This is certainly not a halloween dress but is a good princess / fairy costume that can also be good for birthday parties etc.The fit, although a little long on her yet, is a good fit and the dress is well stitched. However, as with most child's costume wear I don't expect it to handle too many washes before falling apart. Kids costumes do tend to be produced for the short term as the children soon grow out of them, or get bored with them, so the producers take advantage of that.Overall, this is currently one of her favourite dresses and she still has a biy of growth to go yet, before she outgrows it. It is good quality for the price and with a toddler's imagination it can give a lot of fun to the toddler so I am going to recommend it as I do feel it is good value and especialy when I consider some of the products sold for at least double the price and the poor quality of a lot of them
