I bought this set to take apart an iphone and it not only worked great for that job (although I couldn't fix it), but I have used this set on multiple things at home and in the classroom. Nice quality and would buy again.

Not bad for the price

Decent kit, but my project was halted when I got to the step where I needed to use the T8. The metal piece spun inside the plastic handle rendering the tool completely useless. I tried pulling it out with pliers to gain more traction, but that didn’t help, and I couldn’t pull it out all the way in order to try to use just the metal piece either. The rest of the tools have worked well, though, and I like that the tops spin so I can hold the tool steady with one hand while twisting with the other. All useful stuff, just not all fully functional.

For a cheap price and a large selection of different tools this is a great buy. The metal shifs and pry tools are very sturdy and very handy to use, all the screw drivers feel comfortable in your hand and my personal favorite part is on the top of the drivers that colored piece turns freely so you can push down on the drivers and freely turn the shaft. The suction cup is pretty low quality and won’t really work on anything short of a few small screen cracks, this though is expected as almost all these kits come with the same suction cup. Also although the tips of the screw drivers are slightly magnitized the magnetic aspect doesn’t always work (I would say 8/10 times it picks up the screw) regardless of the downfalls I think this is a great set of tools for any novice, hobbiest, or intermediate phone, tablet, or computer repairs. Also as a bonus there are many sizes that you typically won’t use on small phone screw but I have found having larger security drivers sitting around can come in handy. All in all I would recommend.

Where has this set been all my life? I'm discarding a tablet PC and wanted to remove the hard drive, but it has these specialized screws, which turn out to be T3. The smallest star-bit screwdriver I had was a T10. In addition it has tiny Philips and standard screwdrivers, and they seem really durable, unlike your typical eyeglass repair kits. Now that I have this set, next time I break a phone screen I might try replacing it myself. Seems to have everything you need. Thanks for making such a nice, affordable set! Every handy person should own one of these. At this price you should buy one even if you don't think you have an immediate need for it.

I used this set to repair a phone and the T4 screwdriver, spludger, tweezers and so forth worked perfectly to remove various connectors, cables. But I tried to use the T8 screwdriver to remove Tivo hard drive and it was an epic fail. The bit instead slid into the cheap plastic handle and ruined the screwdriver. Thankfully I had a set of torx bits for T8 and above to use. Not recommended for larger screws that require torque. The handles will twist, instead of the screw.

Quite a good little kit for cheap, would definitely buy it again

I'm not a professional repair or IT person, nor do I tinker with electronics all the time. But occasionally, I have a need to open a laptop, repair a pair of glasses, etc. I had a collection of not so good jewelry tools, and they were totally inadequate. These were a $1.50 off so I thought what the heck. I'm so glad I got these, as I had already used them on two different things, and both repairs work were much easier because of these tools. These are not top quality nor comprehensive. But for less than a typical lunch order, how can anyone not have this set at home?

Really good quality tools for phone repairs. The (y) screw driver did strip pretty quick. But still a good value, and great for starting up!

Didnt expect to get so many tools that are amazing if you use them for home electronics and phones!! Made my money back even tripled it. Delivered next day!
