Sight & Vocabulary Flash Cards - Ages 4-10, High-Frequency Reading Words

My granddaughter, Lylah, was having trouble reading words that don’t sound the way they are spelled. The Testing Mom sight word cards focus on these hard to decode words that frequently appear in text and just need to be memorized. Each card give the child 7 ways to interact with the word (including writing it on the erasable card) so the child really learns it. The cards are large, erasable, high-quality, and full of colorful and fun characters. Bottom line - Lylah loves working with the cards, asks to play with them, and now she can read words that stumped her before. Her teacher noticed the improvement and asked her mom what we’ve been doing. I highly recommend these for any child who trying to learn to read.

I am using these to help my 4-year-old grandchild learn the words she needs to read. She loves the fun artwork on each card and the fact that she gets to write and erase the words on the cards. So far, she has learned about 3/4 of the words in the deck. I can see instantly how this translates to reading improvement. When she reads her favorite books to me, she knows the words she's learned from the deck and she's reading faster. These cards cover the top 100 words kids will see in their everyday reading, so they are simply perfect for our needs. Even better, my granddaughter asks to "play" with the cards whenever she comes over!
