Fit my 1968 327 perfectly, starts the sand rail perfectly.

Excessive gap for proper engagement
When installed starter.Measured gap between starter pinion and flywheel teeth was over 1/4 of an inch. Should be 1/8 of inch. Decided too far to shim,removed starter returned it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked it because of the cost. My mistake. 1 year warranty, but, yu are responsible for shipping it back under warranty. Only lasted 2 month. Garbage. Stay clear.

Fit perfect. Was easy to install. Works well during the summer, but when winter came it had a hard time turning over the engine. Overall word ok for the price.
