I wasn't expecting a great deal from this to be honest. Several friends have tried other brands without much success but I seem to have gotten lucky. After laying awake for several nights listening to a scrabbling under the floor boards upstairs, I bought this, plugged it in on the landing and hoped for the best. Silence. Literally not a single bout of scrabbling for a few weeks now. It's either a remarkable coincidence or this really does work. I can report that neither dogs or bearded dragon are bothered by it either. There is a slight downside in the brightness of the light that tells you it's functioning. It lights up, it fades, it lights up, it fades ... continuously pulsing ... and it is very bright in the darkness of night. I couldn't have it in the bedroom at all but I guess it works like a night light on the landing and I push my door to else the light also lights up half the bedroom. Size wise it is probably just a bit smaller than the mouse for your pc. I've no idea why but I was expecting something bigger. Good things come in small packages it seems. EDIT: it's now end April 2020 so this has been in use for 2 years and it's still working. Nothing under the floorboards upstairs since!

Absolutely the biggest waste of money ever. It's hilarious. It's basically a plug in blue light! I have installed it according to the instructions and the time of year ants normally make it in... he. They're still coming in. So are flies and spiders.... shocking. No idea what it actually repels... my fliers are so clean too. UPDATE: a small spider has made a web connecting the pest repeller with a chair. Disbelief.

This product is very difficult to use. It has to be 80 -120cm above the ground which is tricky as it's rare a electrical point is that high so you have to try rig that and make it vertical. The light is very bright so if you are unfortunate enough to have to have it in the room you sleep in, it's a nightmare to try cover up at night while imagining it might still work. And does it work, I am not sure.... I've still seen the odd insect but it might be because I found it so hard to get an extension cable and nail it on the wall (rented accommodation) at the right height vertically. It is silent though. The box it comes in has writing on it that is almost impossible to read and not only because of the grammar, it is minute. I don't need glasses, but wished I had some to try magnify it, luckily I have my phone to hand to photograph it and make it bigger that way. Poor eyes.....then grammar..but at least I could see it.

Ordered the pack of two. One did not work but was impressed that seller contacted me swiftly and resolved the issue.

I rarely write reviews but some things are worth raving about. I had all sorts going on in my loft sounded like squirrels along with mice. Bought this but realised I had no plug socket in my loft, so just plugged it in on the landing. Cats aren't bothered by it all they sleep right next to it. It works like a charm on vermin. First few nights whatever was up their started going crazy as it couldn't stand the noise obviously. It was scrabbling about so much thought it was going to come through the ceiling and now I can hear a pin drop! My unwanted tenants have done one! Thanks

One of the worst purchases. I lost my money. I have the device around two weeks. I pug it in the cupboard that I had mice activity and next to the device I put a poison trap for mice to check of this is working or not. Unfortunately, after two weeks, I still have mice coming, as I see traces of their teeth on the poison tablet. I am sorry but I need a refund the soonest.

I'm going to put three stars because at this precise moment I don't know if it's working as I've moved into a new property that have got wooden floors with pipes underneath it and I saw a couple of unwanted guests which I have been on the internet and found that they are bed bugs and I'm not happy so I purchased two of these items as I have two indoor cats and have nowhere to put them at the moment I haven't seen anything so I think it might be working and it's good that it acts like an night-light as well

Bought to help clear rats from the cavity walls. Didn’t work at all, but the product is possibly not strong enough for that, and is only intended for clearing the open space around it. Have not noticed any decrease in flies, beas, or spiders coming in either though.
