I love it! The probe and app are super easy to use and pairing was a doddle! The quality seems fantastic and it seems to be very accurate! The app makes it so easy to monitor temperature from a decent distance away meaning more time to enjoy beer! Ridiculous value for money when compared to the competition! Will be buying more!!!

A really good product. Even works in a combi oven, shielded for microwave - just don't select microwave! Bought to check a combi oven that I thought wasn't coming up to temperature. Poked the spike into a sausage, and the ambient temp gave me the good news. Cheaper than a new element, and I got an excellent thermometer at the end. I even ate the sausage!

The base is the receiver for the probe. The base is battery only, no external charge function. The base is used to charge the probe. This means that batteries need to be used to initially charge and then use the probe ( 2 x AA provided with device). The base connects to your phone and you download an app to read the temperature, set alarms etc. The probe and base were used at a hog roast and the probe was accurate and durable, enduring considerable heat. The probe was set into the meat and reported back to the phone via the base in a open air setting. The range was excellent. I like the product very much, but a little disappointed there is no external charger function. As it is new I cannot tell how long batteries in the base will last. The app was simple enough to use and intuitive. The alarm for being out of range was so loud, I thought a national emergency was happening.

The temp spike worked fine and was easy to use until it stopped working after four or five roasts. Spike can no longer make Bluetooth contact with the booster or the app. Contacted support but they weren't interested.

Love it very high quality. Only issue I have is the connectivity, it disconnects when I put the lid on my bbq.

Great bit of kit, game changer in the kitchen, ensures you never have over cooked meat again. Unfortunately stopped working after 10 months of occasional use(probe wouldn't pair with phone or booster) so thought I'd try phoning the included helpline, spoke to a very pleasant gentleman (American company so need to work on EST) and 20 hrs later there is a replacement in my recycling bin, possibly the best service I have ever received. Nice and compact worked perfectly on the first time not sure yet about the charge life, time will tell.

Even a pensioner like me was able to set this up . Now I can watch tv and use my phone to keep an eye on the meat temperature , both at the same time !!
