Bought these to split toms on my Alesis Nitro Pro kit and they almost work however they don't produce even sound across both lines, regardless of tuning/settings/input/output. I'll keep them for other things but this didn't work as I'd hoped it would in my case.

I use it tu put my speaker output into a stereo output so i can plug another headset for my girlfriend to listen with me

I bought this to expand the module on my Alesis Surge electronic drum kit, I wanted to add more cymbals but my module was maxed out. I use my kit to trigger sounds in Superior Drummer and other VSTs and my cymbals are duel zone, but I don't use the cymbal mute function which uses one of the audio channels. Hooked this splitter to the input cable and plugged each end into a different cymbal, works like a charm. Had to adjust the midi velocity curve for one side as the audio signal is quiet, but this is easily accomplished and solves the issue fully. I don't think this would work on higher end E-drum kits as they require a special transistor to be inserted into the cable to work properly, but for lower end kits like mine, this is a great way to add additional pieces without upgrading your module.
