This GBA sp shell replacement is ABSOLUTELY amazing for the price. It’s high quality, feels amazing. As well as has a nice matte finish and feel. It was easy to put together as it comes with everything you need, it even comes with a replacement sticker for the model number underneath. Really high quality shell, would definitely buy another for a second project!

It doesn’t come with instructions. Take your time disassembling the old shell so you know how to put it back together. It took me a little while but now that it’s all done the Gameboy looks incredible. Better than new. It comes with a full set of black and red buttons, I couldn’t decide so I ended up doing black on left and red on right. It looks a lot cooler than going with just one color.I also did an LCD screen upgrade while I was in there so the before and after here is not just from the shell.I’ve used this company in the past for rebuilding Xbox One controllers. They make good stuff.

Very impressed with the GBA SP shell! I chose the NES style shell. It is a little darker than I expected, but I do like the color a lot. One of the best aftermarket shells available. Fits perfectly on the back of my GameBoy Slate mod by Makho. Love the soft touch material. I highly recommend this shell to anyone who is interested in modding or reshelling their old GBA SP. Awesome job, ExtremeRate!Update 2/27/2024:New Year, New GBA SP, New Mod!I did decide to purchase a new shell to mod another GBA SP. I decided to get the new Famicom-themed shell. I am very pleased with the end result. The shell has a nice soft-touch texture. The shell fits together well. Please note, that when using certain IPS kits, you do have to trim the top housing a little. This wasn’t difficult. Just make sure to follow the instructions with the LCD kit you purchase. This is still hands down, one of the best quality after-market GBA SP shells available.

There is no instructions included, and some of the screws did not seem to fit properly. Using a combination of old screw sets and the new ones I was able to set it up ok. Looks really great, with a matte finish. Overall I am pretty happy with this kit.

The silky matte feel is so nice. Since it's painted I am a tad worried about it scratching easy, but so far it's a huge improvement over the stock shell. It looks so cool and it's a very vibrant red. All my friends are now asking me to reshell theirs 😂

On est loin des coques cheap ! Le touché est extraordinaire, c’est un peu comme de la peau de pêche, gomme. Très très bonne qualité. Je ne regrette pas mon achat. C’est livré avec 4 kits de bouton complet chacun avec une couleur différente ( rouge bleue noir blanc)

Super snygg och lätt att montera, det ända jag har att klaga på är att skruvarna man får med har rätt dåligt junta i skallen. Skruvmejseln får inget grepp så jag körde bara med original skruvarna och det funkade bara fint. Hade fått 5 stjärnor om inte skruvarna hade så dålig gäng.

Ich habe mich für die Variante "Classic NES Style" entschieden.Lieferumfang:Im Vergleich zu vielen Konkurrenzprodukten ist hier nahezu alles enthalten, was man braucht. Einzig die Scharniere müssen aus dem alten Gehäuse wiederverwendet oder neue separat gekauft werden. Hier empfehle ich, die originalen Scharniere erneut zu verwenden, wenn deren Zustand es erlaubt. Sie funktionieren einfach besser als die meisten nachproduzierten Optionen.Sehr schön finde ich außerdem, dass die Buttons sowohl in grau als auch rot mitgeliefert wurden. So kann man das Design etwas nach eigenem Geschmack anpassen.Die beigelegten Schraubendreher tun zwar, was sie sollen - sind aber etwas unhandlich und dem Preis entsprechend nicht allzu hochwertig. Wenn man eigenes Werkzeug, z.B. von iFixit hat, sollte man lieber zu diesem greifen.Kleiner "Nachteil": Bei Gehäusen von eXtremeRate ist auf dem Gehäusedeckel keine Aussparung für das Nintendo-Logo vorhanden.Qualität:Ich hatte noch nicht viele nachproduzierte GBA SP Gehäuse, empfinde dieses aber als sehr hochwertig. Die Oberfläche ist angenehm weich, die Farben sowie das gesamte Design sind sehr schön und gleichmäßig aufgetragen. Die einzelnen Teile fühlen sich stabil an und sind sehr passgenau.Einziger Minuspunkt: Die Schrauben sind wohl sehr weich, wodurch deren Kopf schnell kaputt gehen kann. Hier ist Vorsicht geboten.Sehr praktisch: Wenn man auch das Display gegen ein IPS-Display austauschen möchte, kann man dies ohne weitere Veränderungen am Gehäuse tun. Es ist bereits für diese vorbereitet.Fazit:Ein wirkliches schön nachproduziertes Gehäuse für den GBA SP mit sehr umfangreichem Lieferumfang. Der Preis ist absolut angemessen und ich würde in Zukunft weitere Gehäuse von eXtremeRate kaufen.Den mitgelieferten Sticker für die Rückseite habe ich noch nicht angebracht, da ich überlege, einen dem Original nachempfundenen Sticker zu kaufen. Der Sticker von eXtremeRate besitzt ein eigenes, Nintendo-loses Design (mit schöner Holo-Optik!).Ebenso fehlen auf meinen Bildern sowie dem Video die Abdeckungen für die Schrauben um das Display. Diese sind natürlich mitgeliefert, ich habe sie jedoch erst später angebracht.

Ho aperto la confezione ho accarezzato la plastica e boooom !C’è super top mega fotonica !È leggermente morbidosa satinata non so come spiegarlo ma mi piace tantissimo al tatto !I disegni molto precisi una figata !Adesso non l’ho ancora montata ma ho preso un’altro prodotto sempre da loro come azzienda ed è andato tutto bene mi immagino che pure per questa il montaggio sia facile, ci sono più pezzi ma non siamo calabresi e abbiamo i pollici opponibili 👍🏻

J'ai acheté cette coque pour restaurer une GBA SP AGS-101 original.La coque est vraiment de très bonne qualité voir meilleur que l'original.Parfaitement emballé et bien protégé.Tout est complet pour restaurer une GBA SP.Attention pas de vitre de rechange fournis.A racheter si je devais refaire une nouvelle gba sp.
