Columbia Women's Bahama Ls

I'm in love with this shirt!! I bought these to wear while fishing at out lake lot. When out on the water the sun gets so intense as the hours pass, if I don't wear a sun protective shirt I fry (I'm Irish, need I say more lol)! Not only does this little gem fix that problem, you look great at the same time. I bought Fossil and Cypress, 2 perfect colors that remind me of going on safari (and, by the way, go perfect with my Columbia camouflage rain jacket). After washing in cold, I took straight out of the washer (as soon as it finished, don't let it sit around in there) shook it out and hung up to air dry and it's good to go! Keep in mind that this isn't a fitted shirt when choosing the size (I bought the sz large). But why would you want it to be in the blazing sun right! The back is vented, and (atleast for me) the arms are the perfect length for casting. There's even place in front to hang your sunglasses while tying on your lure. I'm sure I'll be coming back for the black color to wear while riding our bike. I couldn't be happier with this purchase!***Have been wearing these shirts into my second season fishing and they've held up wonderfully. Great buy, workmanship top notch, easy care. Couldn't be happier! And it goes without saying, great sun protection!

I have two of an older style and two of the newer. There are slight differences between the two. One that I recall is that my older shirts have the ability to open up the shirt under the armpit and the newer ones do not. However, the general fit and feel of the shirts is the same.I do not fish, so can't speak to their utility for fishing. I sunburn easily and dislike the smell and feel of sunscreens, so I never go out in the summer without taking one of these shirts along. You would think that wearing a long-sleeved shirt out in the summer heat would be a miserable experience, but it's really not bad. These shirts are very loose and have a large mesh back panel covered by a back cape section. They breathe well and of course, a lot of the heat from the sun's rays bounces right off the white fabric.They look good and are suitable for almost all occasions. I wear them to the office over a polo shirt and have been complimented several times on my pretty shirt! Stains come out easily. They are great for traveling because they weigh very little, you can wash them in the sink and have them basically dry by morning. They have large velcro front pockets which allow me to keep my glasses with me when riding roller coasters, etc. instead of having to leave them in a bin. I simply remove my glasses at the last moment, tuck them away and bring them back out at the end of the ride. I have similar shirts from LLBean, but they are not quite as good: they are cut more snugly while I prefer this roomier fit and one of the Bean shirts has picked up a stain that will not come out. I've had the older two Columbia shirts for years and haven't had that happen yet!

I like the design, fabric, and fit of this shirt. Cool vented, not hot shirt - sun protection, too. I am 5' 7" and 148 lbs. the medium fit me best with room to layer clothing underneath (tried the large - too big). We are traveling to Africa and the Khaki color was perfect not too yellow or green - just perfect. I will be able to wear this as casual dress after our trip:-)

I like the majority of shirts in this line for namely travel, but do use many of this line for everyday wear as well.I like that fabric is lightweight. If laundered with attention to lower heat and monitoring of dryer time, wrinkles are minimum. I often bring this line for traveling in that even though it will wrinkle in a suitcase. In hotel or home, I am able to steam up the bathroom via a hot shower and use a hanger on a nearby towel rod to almost eliminate wrinkles. In about 5 minutes, very pleased with results.Unexpected delight with ordering several of these shirts in lighter colors and it being revealed its apparent stain resistance. I am not in a position to officially offer my results as being representative other than my experience. On several occasions, the dreaded, "oops" occurred while dining and a few drops of BBQ sauce, and another with dark soy sauce landed on these shirts. I acted quickly and used a napkin and water to gently blot the stain, and with outstanding results. There seems to be effective repelling of immediate saturation with fluids. I see this as a huge money saver, having ruined a few pricey cotton shirts in the past, that immediately absorbed a stain and were unresponsive to attempts to immediately treat.I would have given this 5 stars if "look" of shirt was a bit more versatile, and not limited to merely casual. Yes, I realize this line is a casual look, but desire them to be a bit more forward thinking with expansion. It would be nice to see this company offer a bit more chic and matching lines with coordinating pants. LL Bean offers pants in a somewhat similar material that I often pair these shirts with. I do not desire some cheap, made in China, sloppy pant to go with this. All it takes is the desire of a company to produce a "hit" with a "set" or coordinating wear that is irresistibly a bit chic, yet comfy, modern and chic to entice us to buy one in every color.

Great shirt for sun protection. I found it fits a tiny bit small so returned the large and bought the XL The large is great when standing but gaped a bit when sitting. The quality is excellent and cheaper than on the Columbia website

Sériosly... i Never buy shirt that cost that Much. But i have lupus and i an allergic to sun. I work outside... so i was locking for à shirt who looked professional and à shirt that i wont be too hot in it. This is the perfect shirt. Not.see trough , Light... every body at my job told m'y i was looking vers Nice....
