Dress arrived early. Tried it on and just wow! It is made of pretty heavy material (need this for winter so that works for me) but is stretchy. It hugs curves in all the right places.I am 5’4”, 140 and bought a medium. The Aline really flatters the figure. The zipper is a little tough getting up as it sort of bunches a bit on the fabric, but nothing major.It reached about 2 inches above the knee. I plan to wear w knee high dress boots (w about a 2 1/2” heel) and it will be perfect for our casual New Year’s.It’s so nice, I might even wear it to a wedding in September.The dress arrived clean (I know other reviewers had a different experience). I didn’t detect any odors and it came out the packaging without wrinkles. I dare say you might even be able to fold this in a suitcase and just hang up a day before wearing and you might not have to iron.The embroidery is beautiful. I will definitely look up this dress maker when I need another special dress.

I wore this for a Mexican/Texan rehearsal dinner and it was perfect! The dress is super high-quality... thick, stretchy material and solid embroidery. The dress didn’t wrinkle or look worn even though I had it on all night through lots of dancing! I felt very comfortable in this dress and thought it was very reliable for a busy event running around as the Maid of Honor. Colors were vibrant and I got a lot of compliments on the design. I got a size XL and it fit fine. The waist and sleeves were loose on me and the bust area was tight, but it wasn’t too obvious. As my waist and bust are smaller/larger than what’s on the size chart, that was expected and I’d say the size chart is accurate. Would recommend!

This dress is perfect! Sizing is great, ordered a med and the fit is perfect, right at the knee. Material is heavy and little stretchy, good quality, also has a zipper in the back, the embroidery looks Phenomenal and overall gives a very flattering shape to most who will wear I think. Great buy, have ordered from them before and will do so again, thanks for making a great dress!

The dress is absolutely gorgeous—nice embroidery, heavy, nice-feeling fabric with just a little stretch so that it hugs curves and also maintains nice structure. It’s well made overall. Unfortunately, it’s just too short—shorter than it appears in pictures. I’m 5’ 6” and it was several inches above my knee (which would be fine if I were younger and wearing it to a party, maybe, but it’s just not appropriate for the occasions I had in mind, like dressy work events or a wedding). The hem just cleared the end of my fingertips which made this more of a miniskirt on me rather than just being an inch or two above my knee, which is what I was expecting. I ordered the XXL, by the way, which was their longest length. Shame it has to go back as it’s otherwise a winner and gave me a great shape.

First let me say that I LOVE this dress. It fits perfectly and the fabric is thick and of good quality. The stitching is also beautiful, BUT my dress had a loose/extra thread under the arm. I considered cutting it off, but I’m also worried that it might cause the rest of the threading to just come undone. The stitches everywhere else seems to be tight and well done, all though oneof the flowers also seems to have a loose thread. It’s really unfortunate, because I’ve literally had this dress sitting in my cart for a month trying to decide if I should get it or not. Maybe, I just got a defected one, but I haven’t decided if I’ll send it back or not :/

I had been eyeing this dress for a while now and I'm so glad I finally just went for it and bought it. It's a beautiful dress! I love the embroidery and sleeves. Sooo my style.FABRIC:I was skeptical of the fabric, but it doesn't feel cheap at all. It's heavy and good quality. I will say that if you plan on wearing this to an outdoor event and it's hot out, you will sweat in this dress the fabric is that heavy. Although, it's not heavy enough to be considered a winter dress, so it falls somewhere in the middle, if taht makes sense. I assume it wouldn't show sweat, as the fabric is dark enough, but I have yet to test it myself.MECHANICS:Zipper is okay, not high quality, but it hasn't gotten caught or off track, so that's good.The embroidery of the dress seems very well done and I haven't seen any loose threads so far.SIZE REFERENCE:I usually buy size small, but reviews said to size up, so I did. I bought a MEDIUM. My bust is 34C, and my waist is 27 in. I'm 5'2, so the dress length was just above my knee.If you're like me and read ALL the reviews before buying anything on here, especially clothes, I hope this helped answer some of your questions! :)

I'm a size 16 with a pretty frumpy shape, and this dress makes me look like a million bucks! I walked a red carpet recently and I wore this to a dinner out Mexico City. It travels well without getting very wrinkled. It's SUPER flattering (and it takes a lot for me to believe that about any article of clothing). The material is thick and sturdy yet soft. It doesn't cling to you. The flare of the skirt and the tailored waist makes me look like an hourglass (which I am SO not). It shows off my nice legs, yet hides my problematic elbows and upper arms. The neckline is also flattering. It gets a lot of compliments and I think I love it far more than most of my more expensive dresses. This is a great buy, a terrific value. Get it!

I adore this dress!! It is such high quality for the price! The fabric is thick and a bit stretchy and the embroidery is lovely. It is a tad on the tighter side and a little shorter than I usually wear (mid thigh) but I opted to keep it anyway because it is so beautiful. I will wear it with tights. I am apple shaped and the dress is extremely flattering and comfortable. I ordered the XL. (I am 5'5" and 185 lbs)
