Heck yes! Retinal for eyes and doesn’t irritate!
I have spent the last five months getting my skin accustomed to retinol, the retinal, for my face. I had been using a retinal serum that I would generally smudge up to my under eye area, but I wasn’t sure if it was “safe” to do so. Then all of a sudden I saw this retinal eye cream on Amazon! Do you know how challenging it is to find a retinal eye cream? And one that comes in three strengths? Sign me up! I ordered the strongest version, but only because I had already been using retinal for a while. If you are new to retinal, you should probably start at a lower percentage. For the record, I have dehydrated, middle aged skin that is prone to sensitivity. I have found, in general, that retinal, for me, has had fewer side effects than retinol. I’m not sure if that is due to the differences between the two, or if it is just because I’ve gone through the long process of building up to retinal? I will say this about retinal: it is not an overnight process. Expect it to take several months before you see noticeable results. You may see them sooner, but you really need to give yourself a good six months before seeing results. I’m excited to keep using this eye cream to see if it can help improve the milia/cysts in my under eye area, as well as the ability for it to help my under eye area in general. Is it pricey? Yes, but I fully expect it to be worth it. In case you aren’t aware, retinaldehyde, for all intents and purposes, will provide you with almost the exact same results as retain-A, but without the irritating side effects or the need for a prescription. Do NOT ago overboard with this. Even if you do not experience any side effects, you do not want to use this every night at first. Try 2-3x a week for a few weeks, then bump it up. It is bright orange (as I expected it to be), and you will notice it in your skin if you don’t fully pat it in, or if you are pale, but you only want to apply this at bedtime, so don’t let that out you off. In addition to containing potent retinal, this eye cream also contains many potent moisturizers, like shea butter and squalane , to further buffer you from side effects and dryness. After it dries into your skin a bit, you can always top it off with more, plain, eye cream, if needed. If you are super sensitive, you can try eye cream (nothing active, just moisture), then this retinal cream, then another layer of eye cream. I have seen many pictures of people who have been using retinal products for years, and their skin looks better after several years of use than it did initially. This is a long game, so keep that in mind and do not get discouraged when you don’t see instantaneous results.

Good for aging skin
This is a product review for Medik8 Crystal Retinal Ceramide Eye 10 - Smooth and Lift Cream - Gentle Release Vitamin A. This is a 15ml small tube of eye cream. The color of the eye cream is yellow orange which is good for my yellow warm toned skin. The eye cream is fragrance free so it is also suitable for sensitive skin. The eye cream is on the rich side. It doesn’t blend as easily as most of the eye creams I’ve used so far. I only use it at night time so plenty of time to slowly pat it around my eyes. It hydrates well and is very good for people who have dry skin. Since I use other retinol products at night as well, so I am really being careful not to overlap them to avoid irritation. So far everything is good. I personally like the eye cream and would recommend it for people who are starting to have signs of aging.

Too early for big results but so far so good
Given that it is recommended to ease in to using this treatment over a 4-week period before using daily, I have not yet been able to see a huge noticeable difference, but I can say that for the few times I've used it so far, it does appear to help smooth out a few wrinkles and lessen the dryness of my under-eye skin. It is quite mustardy in color (and texture) so I was initially concerned about it yellowing my skin, but it absorbs in with minimal rubbing and didn't leave any noticeable tint behind. I understand it is a quite high dosage of retinal which is why you start infrequently then gradually work your way up, plus there are also lower strengths to start out with, so I was hoping it would be okay by jumping straight to the highest strength first, and so far all is well. The price is higher than some comparable products but I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for, so if this truly is a premium product then it should provide the best results.

No big impression
No complaints about this, but can't say I've noticed anything really impressive from it either. Was worth a try, but I'm not planning to reorder at this point.

Feels good on the skin
I've lost weight recently which made more wrinkles show up. No! So I needed some help. This cream is a marathon, not a sprint, so it will be a bit before I know how well it really works but so far it seems to be helping. The skin feels better anyway. I have combo skin and my eye area is really dry. I'm feeling some hydration which is a good thing no matter what. I've never been one for putting things on my face, everything tends to make me break out in zits, and so far I've not had any of that. That's a minor miracle. I'm feeling like this is going to be a good thing but will have to update in a couple weeks for a real evaluation. It's looking good so far.

Didn’t break my skin out
I only have a few fine lines under my eyes which have been there for years. I was looking for a way to smooth them out a bit or at least keep more from forming, this does work it hasn’t made my skin break out so I’m happy about that. I have oily skin so I don’t have a problem with dryness but oily skin still needs to be moisturized anyway. The cream is yellow and blended in with my skin tone. I was worried about it rubbing off on my pillow but it hasn’t been bad if I let it dry.

Seems to Work
I don't have very prominent crows feet...yet, but I'm getting wrinkles between my eyebrows, so while I did apply this under my eyes, as instructed, I wasn't seeing much difference. But when I put a bit between my eyebrows, I did notice it was smoother. This is definitely a wear at night cream, per the instructions, otherwise you'll be walking around looking jaundiced from the yellow pigment.

Pricey
Very pricey eye cream. It's doing a great job as a night eye cream (no magical difference yet). Slightly too orange to run into my fair skin all the way, but I only use it at night. High strength retinal. Not sure I'd pay for that price tag over my normal stuff that's 1/3 the cost.
