1/2" ID Silicone Tubing, Food Grade 1/2" ID x 5/8" OD 10 Feet Length Pure Silicone Hoses High Temp for Home Brewing Winemaking

I love these silicone hoses. They are far superior to conventional tubing. I've used a couple different diameters, one for the water system in my camper and most recently to replace the hose on my tile saw watering system.

Saw a youtube video on using tubing like this to splice 3d filament together. Basically cut off a short section and slip it over two ends you want to join together (helps to cut them so they sit flush against each other). Using a hot air rework station (or other similar heating tool) heat up the point where the filament joins and push it together while heating around all the sides. Let it cool a bit and then cut off the silicone and you should have a perfect join with no lip or anything.I used this to join a number of spools that were close to the end and got about another 1/2 a spool out of them. Now I'll use this when my current spool starts to get a little too low and join it to a new spool.

Great fit on the floating dip tube ball and quick disconnect barb. Cut to length. Great value.

This tubing is quite flexible and rubbery which is usually a good thing. It will probably need a hose clamp in most applications as it is slippery and stretchy unlike vinyl tubing. Also unlike vinyl it does not seem to harden with use, especially with substances like kerosene/fuel oil.

the hose is good. I used to extend the air intake for my air horn. It worked great and proudly not what it was intended for but I say you can't teach a new tree roots!

This tubing is really high high quality and works great for a multitude of things. I got it to repair my carpet shampooer and ended up using the rest for flushing my brake lines. Its very flexible and can withstand pulling and pressure. Definitely recommend this to have on hand for around the house uses.

I used this to extend the expansion tank vent line on a polaris atv,worked great.

es una manguera de silicon no es completamente rigida, sirve para sifones de baston. lo he usado con un sifon de acero y funciona perfecto. pero si lo quieres para conectarlo a una bomba de vacio o alta presion entonces no te funsionara. no es una manguera riguida.
