Simple Insert That Really Slows Down Mealtime This slow feeder insert works great to slow our Frenchies down at mealtime. It drops right into their existing bowls, stays put, and forces them to work around the ridges instead of inhaling their food. They still clean their bowls, just at a much safer, more controlled pace with less gulping and coughing afterward. Cleanup is easy—just rinse or toss it in with the dishes—and it hasn’t picked up any odors. For the price, it’s an excellent 5‑star fix for fast‑eating pups.

I had doubts when I opened the package because the product is so soft and flexible. A prior slow feeder purchased for my grandpup was made of a much harder plastic. This is more of a silicone feel. However, this works absolutely great, and our dog slowed down, they have to get the food out of every little compartment, and it was exactly as described in the ad. Fit perfectly in our bowl and the suction cups stick to the bottom great. If it doesn’t fit, you can easily trim the bottom circle to fit the bottom of your bowl and you don’t have to worry about the swirl arms because the slow feeder sections will conform to any size bowl. They are soft and flexible. Finally, this pup of ours is a maniac and destroys any toy and can only have the kind of toys that are made out of very hard plastic. Otherwise, she destroys everything. I was worried because this feeder is so soft that she would destroy it, but instead, she eats out of it very carefully and has not once bit the silicone swirly arms. This was super inexpensive and we are very happy with the purchase.

This slow feeder insert works great for dogs that eat too fast. The silicone is soft, easy to clean, and the suction cups keep it in place. It fits most bowls and noticeably slows eating. Great value for the price.

My humans stuck it right into the bottom of my YETI bowl, and no matter how hard I push or nudge with my nose, it stays firmly in place. It doesn't budge at all. Fun Turbine Maze: The turbine blade design creates these perfect little spiral channels. It forces me to navigate around the soft silicone fins to lick up my kibble, wet food, and yummy toppers. It slows me down significantly, which makes my tummy feel way better after eating. Gentle on My Nose: Unlike hard plastic slow-feeder bowls that can scrape my muzzle, this is made of thick, soft, food-grade silicone. It's totally painless and flexible to eat around. My humans also love that you can cut the edges to fit smaller bowls if needed, and it's incredibly easy to pop out and clean. Works really well. Suction cups hold it in place firmly and washing up is fairly easy. It fits in standard medium sized dish and I did not have to trim at all. Definitely recommend and would order again.

I really wanted to love this slow feeder insert, but it just falls a bit short. The concept is great—it's meant to stick to the bottom of the bowl and slow down a fast eater. However, for the price, I expected a little more. My main issue is that food consistently gets underneath it. We wash our dogs' bowls once a week, and every time we remove the insert, we find a buildup of kibble and moisture underneath. This is a huge concern for me, as I worry about mold if someone wasn't meticulous about cleaning. We never saw any, but it feels like a real risk. Another issue is the size. We have large dogs with large bowls, and these inserts were simply too small to fit properly. A larger option or a better design that creates a proper seal would make a world of difference. The product has potential to be great, but these design flaws and the price point make it hard to fully recommend.

I love that I could just attach it to my dog’s existing bowl instead of buying a whole new one. It’s dishwasher safe, which makes cleaning easy. My dog used to eat so fast that they would sometimes choke or gag, but this has definitely slowed them down and made me worry a lot less.

Wow! This is perfect for my dogs dish and I didn’t have to buy another bowl. Fits perfectly and can bu put in other bowls as well. Slowed down his eating. Great invention!

The best slow feeder insert ever! We got this for our dog who chomps on food like a vacuum. This is amazing for all his meals and doesn't budget even when he laps all his food up. Easy to wash and clean. Not too difficult for him to eat and fits in his bowl easily. Amazing product and has lasted us a month without any problems so I'm expecting more uses from this :)

My dog cannot pull the insert out of his dish - due to strong suction cups on the back of the insert (which is good so he doesn’t eat the silicone). The insert slows his eating down a little. He needs something even more difficult to get to the food out of because he still eats too fast.
