Are the hands brown? Would it look ok indoors?

The hands are like a brushed copper colour and whether it would look good indoors would depend on your indoor decor. If it was going in a rustic style kitchen, I would say yes but not if more modern. I do not think it would suit any other room. I very am pleased with it but have it outside.

No the cogs don't move, but we are very pleased with the look and the accuracy the clock.

It's a greenish colour, dark green.....it's nice.
