Phenomenal
Iโve previously used earplugs and earmuffs for hearing protection, but each have their drawbacks. I wanted something that would provide hearing protection for shooting, mowing, and power tool use, but also wanted something that would allow me to wear a hat and sunglasses for sun protection, so that rules out over the ear type solutions. These fit the bill perfectly! As a bonus, I love the ability to allow sound through, which makes it easy to hear instructions and conversation on the shooting range and such. On top of that, the Bluetooth connection and silicone ear tips makes these great for playing music and regular daily use. These are wonderful for a variety of uses, including shooting, mowing, power tool use, listening to music, hunting, etc. I love the pass through sound ability, which makes them great for hunting. Battery life is great. I used them for 2-3 hours hunting the other day, plus a few more hours since and havenโt had to recharge the case yet. Loud noises like gunshots are muffled to safe levels and I had zero pain or ringing during a 2-3 hour rifle range session. They stayed put without any issues falling out. I have small ear canals, so I was happy they had multiple size ear pieces. The only drawbacks are few and minor. As others have noted, they pick up on wind noise very easily, which results in hearing nothing but wind noise if itโs windy. But, in that situation, Iโd just turn off the pass through and use them as earplugs. Perhaps future versions could figure out a way to mute wind noise, but for me, thatโs a minor con in light of all the pros. Iโd also love to see wireless charging like AirPods have, but again, a minor con. Lastly, in pass through mode, there is a bit of an imbalance towards treble sounds, making the sound a bit harsh. Not painfully harsh, but just not quite natural sounding. Again, I find this a minor con in light of all the pros. Overall, Iโm absolutely thrilled with these and would highly recommend them.

Fantastic electronic ear pro, great battery life
This is my second pair of Xcor Pro's. The first pair is still working fine after 3 years, and I like them so much that I got a few of my shooting buddies to buy them, and I bought this pair recently for my Wife. Enough NRR to shoot pretty much anything anywhere without needing muffs over them (I've shot everything from 5.56 SBR through 300 PRC and 12ga and was never uncomfortable), and the sound boost/cutoff works seamlessly. You can have effortless conversations with people around you naturally, and I don't even notice the cutout, it just works. Great for action-shooting too, they fit well, come with a bunch of different ear piece sizes, and stay put even with running and aggressive movement. I've used them for 6+ hours at a time and the battery was still going strong. The charging case can fully charge the earbuds several times before needing to be recharged itself, and I haven't ever had issues with the ear buds fitting in the proper place in the case to make a good charging connection. The magnets in the case hold the earbuds securely in place while charging. I use them for lawnwork as well as shooting sports, and they work great to play music and cut out the loud volume of the mowers and small engines. The music sound quality is good, but not great. A pair of good quality music-specific ear buds will have noticeably better sound quality (with no NRR), but it's plenty good enough for background music, and is way better than the Walkers I used previously. They're not the cheapest option, but buy once/cry once. I bought the pair of Walker in-ear protection first, and ended up trashing them over poor fit, bad sound quality, and terrible battery life and buying these instead, and they're fantastic.

Really like them but could use some improvements
Sound reduction works great. Bluetooth work well, phone calls I can hear them but they have a hard time hearing me. They stay in place and keep a tight seal but can be a little uncomfortable when worn for long periods of time. Sound enhancement is OK. Overall I really like them, just could use some improvements.

Low quality consumer item Driven by Influencer Hype
Iโve had the XCOR Pros for three weeks, and they are essentially consumer trash heavily marketed by paid social media influencers. I wanted these to work, but they fail on almost every fundamental level. The Fatal Flaw: Massive Battery Drain I couldn't even test the active sound protection on the range because these simply will not hold a charge. Twice, I charged the case and earbuds to 100% and put them in my truck the night before heading to the farm. Both times, literally 12 to 24 hours after unplugging them from the USB-C cable, the case and the earbuds were completely dead. If you are planning a weekend hunting trip or a range day, these will be dead on arrival unless you literally charge them in transit. When another customer complained about this, AXIL on Facebook brushed it off, stating that "all wireless devices exhibit some measurement of battery drain," completely denying the unacceptable extent of this defect. Poor Microphones & Ambient Noise: I wore them to test the functionality and immediately noticed that the environmental sound amplification ("hunter's ears") does not work great, and the wind noise is highly distracting. Furthermore, the microphone is absolutely terrible. I am a daily user of AirPods and a BlueParrot BT450 headset. While the audio playback here is on par with the BlueParrot, the mic cannot compete. Every caller I spoke to said they couldnโt hear me, and I had to remove them and use my phone instead. (For comparison, the BlueParrot mic easily eliminates background noise). Bottom Line & Better Alternatives: Do not fall for the affiliate marketing. Save your money and buy gear that actually works: - For shooting/hunting: Buy Walker's Razor over-the-ear muffs with active sound protection, or just use traditional foam earplugs. - For loud work environments: Stick to AirPods, Sony ANSI-certified wireless earbuds, or foam plugs. Highly recommend looking elsewhere.

Works great!
Super happy with these! Works great for outdoor sessions. The pre installed tips fit my ear perfectly. Once you get the hang of how to put them in they work great. Controls are simple and voices are clear enough for range use. Wouldnโt be my first choice for indoor since an always double up earpro while shooting indoors. Customer service is also great. Lost the charging case on my last outing. Called their customer service and were able to send me a replacement case for a fair price. Hold times were less than 5 min and had my issues resolved quickly. Would definitely buy again if I had to

Great Hearing Protection, Inconsistent Bluetooth
I have owned these for a year. As active hearing protection earplugs, they work very well. The sound enhancement is clear, and the hearing protection function has performed as expected. The Bluetooth feature has been less reliable. They will pair, but at times I get no sound after pairing. The only fix I have found is to let both the earbuds and the charging case fully discharge, then recharge them. I contacted customer support about the issue but never received a response. Overall, they work well as hearing protection, but the Bluetooth performance has been inconsistent, and support has not resolved the problem.

Good indoor and outdoor shooting range hearing protection.
These earbuds provide very good protection on the range. I've used other electronic earbuds that were good at outdoor ranges but did not provide the same level of protection at an indoor range. The Xcor Pro earbuds do a very good job at indoor ranges as well as outdoor ones. It comes with Foam and Silicone tips. I know the foam tips are supped to provide a better seal and therefore better protection but i find the Silicone tips more comfortable yet they still do a good job at reducing the loud shots on the range. The case is slightly bigger than other buds I've used but still small enough to fit in your pocket. I do recommend these for shooting range hearing protection.
