Outdoor 180 Degree PIR Motion Sensor Detector Switch White

The product seems ok so far been up one day, however the thought into installation is terrible.You will have two cables, the main power cable and the load cable (switched by the PIR) to the light. There is one grommet hole that will only take one cable! So how are you supposed to fit this!??! I had to modify it by drilling a hole in the back to bring the main power cable from behind and use the one grommet hole for the load cable to the light.Additionally the cable clamp is very tight and space is very limited as the sensor casing is very small, I was hoping I could use Wago clips but there was not enough room, so I spent 30mins trying to squeeze the wires in there and to be able to finally close it.Overall due to its difficulty in fitting I would not purchase again

I bought two of these to drive separate flood lamps.They do the job but mine do not detect movement at 12m, more like 3-4 metres away (and that’s when ainam walking across the sensor as opposed to straight towards it (which is more difficult to detect).But for me, 3-4 metres is fine as I don’t want to light up the place every time a pedestrian walks along the pavement.The only flaw is that there is only one entry/exit hole for the cables. As a minimum, 2 cables need to access the PIR internal connectors;1, the power supply (twin and earth)2, the load to the lamp (twin and earth).So to allow the above wiring I had to drill an additional hole in the bottom of the PIR wall mounting bracket. In fact, I had to drill 2 additional holes as I didn’t want to use an external junction box and so had to run a further lead from the mains supply connectors inside the PIR to the second PIR.

Bought this, as advertised on Amazon to have override function - to replace another which didn’t have override function. (Had thought that all PIRs had override function). Complained to seller their response - "new batch don’t have override function"!So don’t be fooled by description - does NOT have override feature. And no offer made to replace / refund

The override Function doesn't working. I have just read through the Customer reviews This was brought to the sellers attention back on 27th November 21 and they sent the same response to them "sorry, this batch override function is not working" the same reply that was sent to me, You Haven't changed the Item description on the product page. VERY MISLEADING

IP and probably CE rating are false , poor quality and not waterproof- sensor went to continuously on after a few wet days with rust staining on the inside , replaced it with a second one I had bought and it did the same - will be returning.

Good product. At the first time of connecting I faced some problems with the Manual Override Function but the problem was solved quickly. It is a good product and I enjoy it.
