Will this brace help my dog walk better after an ACL or CCL injury?

Yes. The brace supports the knee joint, reduces pain, and stabilizes movement, helping dogs walk more comfortably during ACL, CCL, or ligament recovery. It prevents harmful knee motion and promotes safer mobility.

How do I choose the correct size for my dog?

Measure your dog’s upper thigh circumference at the groin area and match it to the size chart. Accurate measurement ensures a secure, comfortable fit that prevents slipping and provides proper stabilization.

Can the brace be worn daily and for long periods?

Introduce the brace gradually—don’t use it for long periods at first. Start with 30 minutes, then remove it, let your dog rest, and check for rubbing or chafing. If comfortable, slowly increase wear time. Always monitor your dog.

Does the brace stay in place during normal activity?

The brace is designed to stay secure during walking and gentle activity when properly fitted. However, if you notice the brace slipping or falling, we recommend using the fastening belt for additional support and a more secure fit.

Is this brace suitable for post-surgery recovery?

Yes, the brace can aid recovery by boosting metabolism, protecting the joint, and reducing pain and strain. It does not immobilize the knee. If movement restriction is needed, use the Ortocanis Knee Immobilizer instead.
