I have about a 1,200 gallon fish pond and this filter cleaned the water within hours. If your pond is very filthy before use, I would keep and eye on the filter for the first day it's on since it cleans the water so fast that the water started spilling over the top of the filter and ended up losing some water. Once the filter was cleaned and it cycled again that issue did not happen again. Overall, I highly recommend!

I bought this to get a filter that is easier to clean than the one in the pond fountain. Install was super easy and the waterfall on the edge make cleaning the filter super easy. But the best surprise, was the amount of aeration this waterfall added to the pond. My pond was full of algae when I installed this and within 24 hours I could see clear to the bottom. Fish love to sit under the waterfall as well, make my pond much more enjoyable to watch.

Great waterfall design, easy to assemble. Needed over 20 minutes to remove three double-sided tape strips with a razor-isopropyl alcohol combination. The tape deserves six stars, please post the brand. Waterfall had straight sheet flow, and is a great aeration feature.

I installed so it overhangs the wood fram for a fish pond. It’s a simple, efficient design and works well. It needs to be supported well, since it’s a hard plastic which will crack if stressed.
