Great produce bags for reducing plastic footprint but beware shrinkage!!!!
Purchased to reduce dependence on plastic produce bags when shopping for groceries. Great sturdy constructions and will come in very useful for shopping. Love that they are made with organic cotton.A few niggles however. 1) the price is a little expensive for what they are and where they are manufactured (India). 2) the bags shrank a bit the first time they were washed on a cold cycle so now I have to go back and purchase the bigger sized bags; pre-washing by the manufacturer before stitching would solve this. 3) the size of the Amazon box this came in was about 4 times the size of the item - preposterous and kind of defeats the purpose of purchasing these to reduce packaging.Updated: after a month of use, these bags have shrunk again, 10x12 is now 8x11. If you're going to charge this amount of money for bags, I really would have expected your manufacturer to have pre-shrunk this or at least put a warning on the sale page!!! Reduced to 3 stars.

These are a really nice set of bags that I've already used at the greengrocers to bring home some tomatoes and at the bakery to bring home biscuits too. I'm also planning to use them for my daughter's school lunches and snacks to replace plastic bags in our attempts to go as zero waste as possible. I've already washed the bags and they came out great.
