I was really excited about this lip stain. So many Influencers Rave about this lip stain and they use it in their night time routines and it stays on all night, just to wake up and throw some gloss on and call it a day. Not the case with me. Mine wore off in about 3 hrs. Color is pretty it does stain but its not long lasting. My first picture is after application and the next is 3 hrs later. Barely there... Update: 9/23/2025...after submitting my review with ny previous purchase Seller contacted me to make things right. They gave me tips on how to use the product and offered to send me a replacement, I received Rose Pink and its PERFECT! Gave the stain I was looking for. See the 3rd picture of it. Now I am loving. I will cintinue to purchase through this seller because of how they handled my complaint.

The people with bad reviews are misleading because they're not doing it correctly and their expectation is wrong. Any peal off lipstain is tricky to work with and can make a mess. Yess it gets on your teeth if you're applying all over. You do have to brush your teeth when you're done. It wont come off it one clean peal if you apply all over because it wasn't intended to be used all over. It comes off in one clean peal if you're using it as a liner only and allow it to dry completely. If you have alot of peach fuzz on your upper lip, it will pull your hair if you over line. Obviously. It you have dry skin pealing on your lips, it will pull on it if your applying it over it. Obviously. Some of these reviews are like...... really?!? I mean come on. There's a reason it advises to clean and exfoliate before use. If your lips are pealing, don't use it at all unless you're ready for a little sting. If used correctly, this product is fantastic!!! There are different types of skin around our lips and the stain will last different amounts of time depending on where you're applying it. The outer area where we line holds stain longer than the middle areas of our lips. The closer you get to the inside of your mouth, the less it's able to hold a stain. That has NOTHING to do with the stain and everything to do with your skin. I use this product all over my lips. I have learned (over the last 6 months of using it) that it works it's absolute best if you don't overline much. Remember, the skin above our lip is different than the skin of our lip! If you clean your lips and exfoliate as directed, apply a thin THICK line along the actual lip line, let dry for at least 5 minutes or longer, and then slowly peal, it works as expected. If you're applying all over, line first and then fill it. THICKLY. Once you peal it, it is NOT FINISHED. You have to take a cotton pad or washcloth and clean it up and blend. Then, if you applied all over, you will need to brush your teeth to make sure it's cleaned up. I usually take a q-tip and clean around my lips a second time to make sure it's perfect. Depending on how much stain I leave after cleaning it up and blending, it can last anywhere from a couple hours to all damn day. It really depends on how I did it. The color is gorgeous and nothing else compares in my opinion. I usually put a little elf stain over it if I'm just lining my lips with it. It looks beautiful and natural and there's nothing like it. Again, the bad reviews are from people that don't really know how to use it. Period.

I sometimes wear a mask for work and found that this has been the best solution for color to stay on and not transfer to my mask or smudge all over my face. Wish they had more color options but I'm happy with what I have for now.

I have very pale lips, and I wanted to get something to just give me a light definition of my lip line. I got the shade Cold Call, and it really is the perfect shade to just define my lips on my face. I love the color and I love that I can put any lip product over it and it looks great, or I can just do the liner to define my lips and go without a lip color. It’s not super obvious. I will say I’ve tried a few different shades of this peel off lip liner/stain and this particular one is thicker and more difficult to get out of the tube. Every other shade I’ve tried has been a thinner more wet formula so maybe this was just a bad batch. I still use it and love it. It goes on, dries quickly, and peels off easily. If you don’t want to mess with the peeling, you can put it on and then wipe it right off with a tissue before it even dries and it still stains perfectly. This is my favorite shade and I will continue to purchase.

This is a staple in my makeup routine. I have repurchased twice. I feel it has to be used in a specific way to yield good results. If your lips are dry, this will look patchy!! That is the biggest downfall. You can see in my photo that in a few areas it’s clung to my lips and caused the dry spots to be darker and more pronounced. As long as my lips are hydrated though, it usually looks more smooth and uniform. I have the color PInked I never wear this just by itself. At minimum I am putting a daytime lip mask over it. When I am doing a full glam makeup look I use this as my base and then lip line with a gloss or lip mask over the top. I like it as a base layer because if I am eating and drinking throughout the night and my lip liner comes off then at least I have some color. Something else I’ve noticed is that the tube of product dries up and gets gummy before I am able to use the full thing so I end up having to toss it before it’s all gone. It isn’t very expensive so that doesn’t bother me too much. Something that helps me if it comes out a bit patchy is to use a baby wipe or wet paper towel to blend it. It usually lasts all day!

I saw this all over TikTok so of course I bought it. I followed the directions and made a point not to get too close to the inner part of my lip and I made sure my lips didn’t touch while it was drying. The colors on the label look nothing like they do on your lips. They are very muted ,very chalky looking. It bled into the inside of my lips and got all over my teeth and it took me brushing my teeth for a good 3 to 5 minutes to get it off my teeth and gums. Afterwards, I was left with a chalky outline on the outer part of my lips and what looked like I had eaten black licorice or chocolate ice cream all over the inside of my lips. I ended up taking a makeup wipe to get the inner staining off because it was not coming off with a tissue. The only cool part of this entire product is the peel-But because the natural moisture in my mouth kept re-wetting the center ,it came off a lot like the black goop in Venom. And that was after letting it sit for about 15 minutes and not letting my lips touch too much . After all that it wore off of the outside of my lips within about two hours. Save your money don’t buy this product. I already threw mine away after giving it about five tries with different colors and getting the same result every time.

I've bought this twice. Love the color BUT.....Product is great at first but has a terrible shelf life. First week or 2 of DAILY use it applies great and has a gorgeous dark tint. However after multiple applications and what I'm guessing is exposure to air, it becomes very hard to apply and becomes ineffective. It won't go on smoothly and as you apply it will remove the product and become patchy. Also, will peel off the skin on your lower lip if you apply to your full lip rather than a liner. If it applied like it does the first few uses, it would be my favorite for sure, however the way the product changes rapidly in the course of a week or 2 makes it not worth it for me. However I did buy it twice because the color is dark and gorgeous at first but still very natural. Hopefully they can improve the product a little. Even if it worked for a full month I would buy.
