High end and worth the price…Quality and something you don’t want to skimp on for survival…Filters are a bit pricey, but a small price to pay for a potential life saving device…Buy once, cry once, continue to survive! 👍

Have no complaints is a great mask, I have a stone henge comically large head and it fits just fine. This is my first ever gas mask so I have no comparison but I think it is great. Have had it for a year and no issues so far. Easy to wear, test, and get filters for. After the nuclear apocalypse I will make sure to come back and review its effectiveness! lol

Arrived exactly as described: New unit with proper sizing, no damage. If you are an average size male: MEDIUM is a good fit. (I’m 6’ 175 pounds - 7 1/8” cap size) I was able to get a good sight picture with elevated red dot optic on my AR-15 (RCR top mounted ACOG) and 12GA w/ Holosun 510c. Getting a sight picture inside the ACOG was doable, but not ideal. I would not trust a good sight picture with iron sights on a rifle unless they are canted.

Plan to test this thing, but I have no doubt it will serve me well when I need it most. MIRA safety doesn't play with CBRN preparedness. Forms a positive seal, is comfortable to wear, and dawning is a piece of cake. Better to have it and not need it then to-well you know the rest.

I bought this mask and opened it at night. Let it out to air because of the smell. Then I turned the flash on my phone and noticed it's sparkly? Unsure what it's contaminated with, but my guess is it's likely fiberglass from improper storage. I expected better given the ratings this mask & company have. If it is fiberglass, I'm not sure how to remove it since it's on the outside of the mask, mainly on the rubber. I placed it back into the box in came in, and suppose I will clean it somehow another time. I don't want to risk trying it on if it does have fiberglass on it. I also ordered my daughter a mask, but I haven't inspected it that yet. But for the price I would hope there's nothing wrong with it.

There are some nasty chemicals out there used in war. Mask does have a smell to it but I rather smell it and live with out complications another day. Seals really good, fits good, can not test it out fully, still have to purchase filters and have to be exposed to chemicals. There are other options but quality can't be too good and others are pricey.
